MSNBC Article on Swingers - actually a positive one :) - We are members of this club.We have been for about three years now. Tabu is a great place to go and meet people or just have fun. There have been many times we (hubby & I) have went to only have sex with each other.

You seem to be a very presumptuous person. I was born in South Carolina and have lived there on and off. I was also a soldier for a time in the south. I am not from Utah. I have only been here for a little over a year. I was raised in Oregon. I have lived in both extremes. I have seen both sides of the world. I could care less what you are apologetic for.
The bottom line is, that a Southerner's shit stinks just like everyone elses. They have and still commit atrocities in the South, just like anywhere else. Just as there are people that are hospitable in all of the world. Southern Hospitality is no more present than Northern Hospitality. Where you are from says nothing about the individual. If you understood any of what I said, you would know that. Your post suggested that the state you live in has something to do with your tact. That is absolute disinformation. It is propagandist intolerant garbage. All states have their assholes and their good people.
I would also like to say that Liberalism or Conservatism also have nothing to do with it. All you are proving is that you, like most other are biased based upon your affiliations. Is that bad??? No. Just don't try and convince everyone that you are somehow better based upon your locale or political affiliation. We are all human. We shit, eat, sleep, hate, love, laugh and cry the same. You are no better than the next.
Remember, it was you that was making the bold statement that where you were from had something to do with your tact. Well, like age, lifestyle, hygiene and other physical attributes, weight is subject to an individual's taste. We are all unique in what we desire and while some do not mind overweight people, some do. Should we fault them? One should think not. We should just find those we are most compatible with.
I am a bigger guy (230) and I do not expect any woman to "get" with me just because they show interest in being friends. The sex part of this is a reward that comes after both parties have established where they stand in the meeting or friendship. Just because we are all "Swingers" doesn't mean we lack taste. Question - do you talk about other swingers? - Never mention names! One thing we've found over the years is that people who swing, particularly those who belong to clubs, have too much to say about other people. I don't want to hear about it.. The people who are typically being trashed may be friends and we may have had different experiences with them. Best thing is simply the illustrated comments about what your version of swinging is. Descretion means or should mean what happens with others stays there and is not discussed. People may mesh differently with others and your experience or theirs is irrelevant. So MUM's the word.
