Policing Ourselves - Can it be done? - Policing ourselves, can it be done? NO!
Advice for a newbie, LOL! I would say "RUN, run away as fast as you can!"
Seriously the first thing I would say to a new person/couple is "What ever you think swinging is, its not."
I think that with each couple comes different rules, as well as with each different scenario. How can you have a set precedence with as many different types of people that are even on this site alone? Let alone in the lifestyle.
I have often wondered why swingers would even have rules, I think the lifestyle is about the moment and with each moment you should take it as it comes. But that's just my opinion.
To set ground rules is to invite anarchy. Why bother?, a person either has respect, or they don't period. For every rule you could come up with someone could justify breaking it.
My 2 cents.

Pink flamingo - How many swingers have a pink flamingo in their front yard? - Whiskey_girl, I wonder if that ever happened to me and I was oblivious. Definitely will start paying attention now đ

Couple seeking couple - Where the reals at...? -
Hi super sexy horny peeps...
Weâve been on this site for a while now and itâs been fun meeting new people but we have issues with a few things.
1.) People send us friendship requests without even saying hi first, which is super weird in our opinion. Send us a message first and tell us why you even give a fuck about talking to us.
2.) Ummm.... what are we supposed to think when we see a profile and all the pics are of the gal. Hello... red flag... does that mean the guys is super ugo? Not cool!
3.) We are veterans in this lifestyle so we know what weâre looking for and we make it very clear in our bio as to what weâre looking for so sending us a message and then us seeing from your bio that we are clearly not looking for the same thing is so weird to us. WTF?
Ok, we know we are the exception to the rule when it comes to âswingersâ because we donât consider ourselves as swingers. We want a fun couple to be best friends with in and outside of the bedroom. Call us crazy but thatâs how you form genuine friendships in this type of situation. We arenât looking to put a bunch of notches on our belt or going to parties to just fuck whoever. That being said, please read our bio and if you think weâre a good fit, please drop us a line. This isnât just about sex sex sex for us... although, we LOVE sex! We are looking for genuine human connection and friendship with this couple. We know we arenât alone in our quest for a fun couple to hang with because weâve dated 3 couples in the past 6 years and have had a blast! Just gotta fine a good fit for us.
spot on,,,hey were always looking to meet and make new friends
Girls that are into DP - How common is this activity among the swingers? - Love dvp
Why Be In Utah? - -
Actually I've always wondered the same thing about Florida. Substitute the crazy Mormons for the Bibile thumpers from Orlando north into the panhandle, add in the hurricanes, torrential rains, gaters, snakes and mosquitos...besides, I've heard the snow skiing is HORRIBLE there. But I'll bite.
1) No porn. You can buy dirty magazines but (unless you know where to go) hard core x-rate movies are technically illegal to sell. A non-issue in the internet age. If you're still buying dvd's at the local porn emporium you need to maybe update your computer or your media server or something.
2) No real beer. Again a myth. You can only buy 4% (by volume) beer in grocery stores but you can get full strength beer at state liquor stores, restaurants and places like brewery stores. Try getting ANYTHING to drink in some dry towns/counties in the Bible Belt.
3) True to some extent, although Salt Lake City itself is VERY eclectic and quite liberal politically. But at least our LDS lawmakers know basic female anatomy and have somewhat of a grasp of proven basic science. No kooky evangelicals freaking out every time someone mentions birth control or evolution.
4) Most people are afraid of Mormons? Really? I've heard they have horns and the missionaries CAN be a little annoying when you're fucking and they're ringing the doorbell but I don't think people are truly afraid. Besides, contrary to popular belief the swing scene here is alive, active and vibrant. I'd wager that per capita we have more, and more active, swingers than just about any place you can name. All that repressed Mormon sexuality eventually bubbles to the surface and until you've fucked a formerly repressed little Mormon girl who's discovering her sexuality you, my friend, haven't fucked! :-)
Exactly what I was going to say but I would add in that it's more of an out door culture here. So many outdoor adventure activities to do here.
Holier than thou? - Holier than thou? - I'm curious as to why anyone here would think that just because people are on a swingers site they would be any different than the mix of people you will find walking around the mall.
Since the beginning of time/man/whatever you want to call it/believe people have segregated themselves into groups, cliques, and we've all been on one end or the other of these. It's just a fact of life folks, and being here on a swingers site isn't going to change that one bit. You'll find people you like, you'll find people you lust after, you'll find people that annoy the shit out of you, and you'll find people you'll dislike. Just as in your day-to-day contact with everyone else in this world.
I think when you just accept the fact that not everyone will be your cup of tea, nor you theirs, life is just a lot easier. So they won't email you back...doesn't that tell you all you need to know?
Also, maybe it's nice to remember that not everyone communicates in the same way. Maybe, just maybe, that couple that isn't emailing you not because they are snobbish but because they are shy, or they just don't communicate the same way you do.
Of course, maybe I'm just completely full of shit ;)
Age quesiton - Do swingers of the same age group swing together? - Age is not a factor for us! With her 34 and me 51 can be close to one but not both. If people are nice and want to have fun we say why not!
