Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I think the fact that the site hasn't offered lifetime membership specials for so long has really impacted people's ability to connect with newer couples. They come and go too quickly to really follow people, and only the older couples are here to stay, and they often already have their close friends and might not reach out as often. The monthly fee is just too steep for what you get here considering the current level of activity. Now that scenario which is about as far out as it can get seems like neverland to you but what about the real swingers your putting in that position. Gosh...there are even sexual/Lifestyle-related categories...which PROBABLY means that someone...if they get REALLY wild and crazy...just MIGHT actually generate a thread that's based on something sexually oriented.
Of course...it's wholly conceivable that those same "someones" JUST might prefer to expend their energy composing and generating a thread that whines about the non-swinging threads.
Perhaps ADMINISTRATOR should add an additional category to the list and call it "JUST FOR THE SAKE OF WHINING". I'm certain that this thread would be very apropos for that category.
Come on people...get real...and get a life...and evolve.

Church Swingers, are they out there? - - I myself, believe that things such as religion (or spiritualality if you prefer) and sexuallity are a personal thing. I think the comments made by SHRED sum it up rather nicely. Having studied religion for 12 years in the catholic school system it seems that most of the organized religions I have any knowledge of, have lost the real point made in the New Testament anyway. It seems often that what is being preached is not what is being practiced or in some cases things have been taken out of context to stress some point of faith or morallity in a distorted way. I personally can not believe that God would want us to live our lives this way. I have to agree with those who say "live and let live" or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That seems to be the message I got out of all that religious instruction, but not necessarily what I saw being practiced.
To those who feel they can balance religious practice with this lifestyle, I would say do so if it works for you. It is your personal choice. and thats the way it should be.

Cuming out of the Swinger closet - - After some time in the lifestyle, we have recently started to break the news to some of our close friends that we are swingers.
We have great friends and so far they have taken the information really well. However, we have other friends that would never want to hear it, and god forbid if we ever told our family about it.
