However, most people in the lifestyle believe in mutual assured destruction. In our time in the lifestyle, we have run into three co-workers, two high school classmates, the mother of a child on our child's athletic team, and a woman who we shared a daily commute with on public transportation. Vanilla people have absolutely no reason to keep LS peoples secrets, and I think they’re more likely to gossip about something relatively foreign to them (like a LS party they attended). I’ve had two vanilla coworkers in my office talk about going to The NYer to people watch swingers, and that just made me cringe. I would not trust a vanilla person to keep our secret, and even less if we saw them at a “mixed” type of party where any conclusions could be made. We would rather keep our vanilla friends and our LS friends completely separate for privacy’s sake. No matter how hard vanillas try, most of them cannot wrap their heads around our LS, and just avoiding vanillas while pursuing our LS hobbies is our safest bet. Being fully open to the world about being a swinger is absolutely not something we want in a couples friendship either. If you're going to blame your customer - At least remove the evidence it's your fault. - I'm the poster child for every fucking error message, connection problem and browser fuck up imaginable on my POS laptop and I don't have any problems at all. And FWIW I'm on another swing site that's MUCH more expensive than Swingular and there are just as many people complaining about these issues and more. I know a guy who does I.T. for the other swing site and it's a fucking nightmare trying to deal with every possible combination and configuration of OS, browser, server, and ISP out there. Not downplaying the problems you're having, just sayin' it's kinda like a ginormous swing party with uber hot young cuties, old fat farts, drama ridden noobs, posers, maybe a bunch of polys who don't know they aren't really swingers anymore, and about a thousand creepy single guys from Craigslist and then expecting each and every one of them to just get along famously and then play Twister on a huge Twister mat with a dude who only speaks Mandarin Chinese spinning the spinner and calling out the color and body part combos.

And some of the sillier things (like the upside down pineapple) are going the way of urban legends. =) Would like to see it more in Utah, since it's definitely a "thing" when you get outside the lowly shelter of Utah-centric Swingular. (SLS, Kasidie, etc, are all at least mentioning it regularly now, if not downright pushing / endorsing it).... And the OTHER online communities (like reddit) are pushing it pretty hard. Even when it comes to swinging, it seems Utah is sheltered. =) However, worth adding, that based on my observations, it's gaining traction mostly with the under-40 crowd. (Not coincidentally, the same crowd that's more active in the social-media circles).

age versus pics - - We have always had pics with our profiles, and we don't mind letting people see who we are. We've never had any problems yet. We figure if someone sees us on a swingers website, they must be there for the same reasons we are, or they wouldn't be looking in the first place. We have pictures from last week, and we have some from several years ago. I doubt if anyone could really tell the difference. We're one of those lucky couples who have looked the same for a long time. We feel that if our pics are an accurate view of what we really look like, it really doesn't matter how old they are.
