Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - I am a single guy, and in my opinioin I am not a swinger. I am just here to find a good time. I agree that swinging is between a couple, so I guess a couple that invites a third is swinging, the third is just getting some extra lovin. And about Hugh Hefner being single, he is not. He is officially still married to the mother of his two boys (I actually read this months articles, I swear).

Moab Utah - Swingers in Moab - Also interested Football season can get in the way (kids but that all remains to be seen)

What really defines a TRUE swinger? - - We don't consider singles swingers, but have no problem playing with them on occasion. We play with both couples and singles and still consider ourselves swingers. Most the time, I initiate simply because I'm the more social and outgoing one. Sometimes he makes the calls. We both have to agree on the situation, but we can take turns making the calls. I think its more important to have fun and do what makes you happy rather than arguing about whether or not I'm a swinger, you're a swinger, they're a swinger, is everyone a swinger? lulz. I dunno. Am I a fake swinger cuz Mark gets to be in charge sometimes or because we play with singles sometimes? Oh well. Guess I'll just keep playing pretend. mwuahahaha.

ksl - did you watch?? - Ok this is the Mrs. now - up until a post on KSL I didn't care to say anyting but someone's post pissed me off - they made it seem as if all the men were making the choice and us little women just went along with everything. Sorry I get pissed when people try to tell me that women mean nothing in this world... Okay enough ranting I am posting the comment that bugged me and then mine and 1 others. This is on the KSL website about the story they ran on supposed swingers lol ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ReplyAn observation by Steve L. @ 10:10am - Tue May 9th, 2006 Looking at the comments, it seems that the men accept it and the women do not. Reply(No Subject) by Kimberlie R. @ 11:12am - Tue May 9th, 2006 As a woman participating in this lifestyle, I figured I would add my .02. I was the one who brought it up not him. We started talking about it and decided it was something we wanted to try, it was not a decision made over night - we talked about it for quite awhile. This is not something you hear about that often (depending on where you grow up. People keep quiet about it because of people like you, who sit here and have the nerve to condemn us for a choice we make as adults and as husband and wife. We are not hurting anyone, we don't involve our families or kids. We are not trying to recruit anyone into what we are doing, if someone joins because they know we do it it's their choice as ADULTS. Every person who sits here and says its "nasty", "perverted", or "that the people who do this are more apt to be predators" have no idea what you are talking about. How dare you condemn someone for a choice they make as ADULTS. Last time I checked we still lived in America not Iraq and had the freedom of choice. You people are just like all the other people in other centuries who condemn someone for something you don't understand. You go to a church who's founder was teaching plural marraiges at one point, look what happened to him, all because the rest of the world didn't believe or understand what he did. Get a life people, quit condemning people for something they have the right to choose to do. ReplyBy the way by Glen T. @ 11:07am - Tue May 9th, 2006 Most Women in this lifestyle or Bi, or bi curious and like the option of having the best of both worlds. At least we don't have to hind in our closets or behind closed doors on the internet surfing for porn

hall passes - valid? - One of the deep dark secrets of swinging is that swingers don't magically have a corner on the honesty market. (GASP! I know, right?) And despite the fact that it seems somewhat counterintuitive, for some people, thumbing their noses at society's norms by fucking each other's spouses just isn't quite naughty enough. Nope, for them, they just have to add the extra dimension of sneaking around and lying about it. I think it reminds them of hiding their Playboys under the mattress when they were younger. Personally, we try to avoid people with the emotional maturity of Donald Trump. [em]Emo_67[/em]

What's the universal swinger signal? - How can you spot a swinger?? - With my ex, we 'recruited' a lot of people into the lifestyle. We simply flirted and saw where it went. If they're in the lifestyle, they'll know what is happening, if they're not but open, they'll figure it out pretty quickly, if they're not and not open to it, flirting with a couple isn't a good thing, they'll walk away. Locally, there's a nudist resort, not all nudists are swingers and not all swingers are nudists, so to find out, simply talk, drop a hint, etc. that's all we did.

Amusing Story about bad planning - Notice nobody asked the swinger\'s opinions - If I may interject something here with regard to the Orlando swingers\' New Year\'s Eve party. Several people have lambasted the \"parents\" of the children exposed to the swingers\' activities. I\'d like to take a different approach. Don\'t \"swingers\" have any common sense? For starters, the writer of the piece didn\'t make it clear whether the parents were or weren\'t with the children during the time of the exposure. Based on an \"adult\" reporting the incident(s) to hotel management though (Mr. Young, I believe), I\'ll take it that there might have been at least one situation where the parents were with the children. Besides, it doesn\'t say the the kids were out late at night. It doesn\'t make any specific statement about when the incident(s) took place. It does say that the swingers did their activities \"in front\" of the children. Didn\'t they have the common sense to notice youngens around and be discrete? Didn\'t the hotel management have enough sense to realize that swingers would probably be exposing themselves and therefore cover up the glass surrounding the ballroom where the majority of the event took place? And didn\'t the swingers\' group organizers have any sense to address those issues before, or even during, the event to make sure that anyone (child or adult) who doesn\'t want to \"participate\" in their enjoyment wouldn\'t have to be exposed to it (no pun intended, but hey!)? On the other hand, shouldn\'t a parent feel in a high level hotel like a Crowne Plaza that their kid could safely go down to the lobby vending machine (or whatever) without having to monitor their every movement? Doesn\'t that instill a sense of maturity in an age group (around 13 I think I recall from the story) that is virtually moments away from \"adulthood\"? From this perspective, there\'s plenty of blame to go around, except for the kids. Something else needs to be said here which is how people \"read into\" news coverage. It was quite interesting to see comments about the \"impression\" that the article made regardless of what it did or didn\'t actually say.

Threaded messenger - We want threaded messenger -
“There are some really damaged people” on Fetlife? Really? Lmao ... FYI Fetlife is NOT a swinger site, it’s a BDSM site. Just because you don’t share their fetish doesn’t make them damaged. 🙄
It's actually a lifestyle site and swinger is one of the designations to choose from when setting up a profile. We've met and played with a lot of swingers from that site, so I'd say it's a viable option for swingers. And to clarify, I'm not referring to their individual kinks. I'm referring to the writings on that site. We've read some deeply disturbing things on that site and if you're an active member, you know of at least a couple recent issues that gained a lot of attention.
I disagree, and we’ve been on Fet for many many years. Fetlife is a kink/BDSM fetish community. Yes, you can designate yourself as a swinger, but the site is in no way a “swinger” site. In fact I think most kinksters on Fet will want nothing to do with swingers who don’t have kinky fetishes, and are just hoping to hook up, Of course there are pure vanilla swingers there, but I sure wouldn’t recommend it as a “swinger” site. Kasidie is a far better swinger site as an alternative to this crap site lol
