Is it that a single swinging female is all that elusive, or is it just more likely that a woman who's secure enough in who she is to have a liberated lifestyle is probably more likely to have a boyfriend / husband? Thus making it a simple fact of life and society that the whole concept of a liberated single female is for the most part a myth or at best a temporary state.
Guys are programmed to be tomcats. There comes a time when "every boy must become a man". But little girls are taught that "sex is something only for your husband".
Society accepts single males prowling about generally - that's why when a single guy get shat upon in a swingers site, the resultant wailing bears striking resemblance to a chorus of whining mules. They don't get it: "They don't like me? Why? I'm hot..." Now if a woman were to go out there looking for it, then she's branded a home-wrecker, "slut", "whore", or worse. IMHO: I think when a couple starts kvetching about the lack of single females, they might do well to have a look at why it is that they want just a woman and not her S/O. Profiles? - - I think for most of us that live outside of the greater Salt Lake area its about location. We live in Southern Utah, which is a swingers wasteland.
Do people even read profiles? I think they just look at pics and if they like what they see they may read part of your profile, but not really pay attention to it.
I think in light of Mr Uthot's advice I may need a profile makeover too! Ours is as generic as the next one, but nobody really reads it anyway, except to pick at it when I post a controversial thread in the forum, then they read every word, mix it up and spew it back at me!

It's a wanna-be that doesn't really have the balls to be in the lifestyle so they hide behind their computer screen. We try to sort them out very quickly. After an introduction email or two we talk on the phone and then offer to meet for drinks. If there's any reluctance---they're done. We have neither the time or energy to waste on cyber-swingers. There are two versions of a friend collector in our opinion.
Version one: You receive or make a friend request with a short introduction. The friend request is accepted and that’s the last you hear from that person.
Version two: You receive a friend request that develops into a week or two of conversation, pictures exchanged. and multiple attempts to arrange a meeting are made and they still flack on you. Eventually you never hear from them again but they don’t delete your friendships on the website.
In our opinion these are the true definitions of a friend collector.
