Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - We have talked about this at parties with our group. Most have no idea about them and those who did said they never worked for them.. We also brought up the UPSIDE DOWN PINEAPPLE in your grocery cart and also the Pineapple flag flipped over.. Most had no idea on them either.. Some say they would try the pineapple in the cart while shopping, but most just say: We'll wait to hear from peeps coming to parties!!
Side note: One of our son in laws wears a black ring in place of his expensive wedding band while at work. One of his friends asked him if he and our daughter were swingers. HE WENT NUTS... He knows we are in the LS, but doesn't like it. So oddly the only person I have ever heard of that was asked about the ring and knew about it, asked a VANILLA MAN.... How are we doing???????? ;)
Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Very true Tammy and WALT we was there also i was wondering how could they see in the ballroom it was completly blocked off and u had to walk way down the hall to even get inside the ballroom, shoot i could not even see in theballroom was so dark!! lol so to all the assuming people do not always believe what you hear!!!
Looking to establish a group of safe swingers - - We were part of a group of friends like this, and it was great! We had regular get together, drinking, playing games, hot tubbing, swapping.. unfortunately the host couple moved away and we kind of fell apart. Awesome fun!
Dinner party - - We would love to attend a classy party so tired of the stand around slamming drinks with people type party. I think the wife and I would be more inclined to enjoy a touch of class and I know from there things could become more and as for fun oh HELL yes!!!! Again anymore the lifestyle has become a fuck fest and that is a major turn off for most. When swingers are densely populated in an area.. yes.. that's bound to happen.. However, a tiny fraction of the population are actually swingers.. so when you're talking about something "in the wild" (versus at a meet-up), this isn't likely to be a problem.

I'd say we're years (decades?) away from that ever becoming a problem. Black rings would need to be EVERYWHERE before the general populace catches on to it... and then you just move on to something else.

I'm not sure which part of the black-ring suggestion takes "spending a lot of time"... Attending meetups is DEFINITELY the preferred way to find swingers (well, and web-sites, like this one)... But talking to people who've actually seen the black-ring in the wild and MET swingers in open, public, spaces... there's a certain excitement that comes from that.
