Lifestyle friendly camping - - Spring fever is TOTALLY kicking in right now! Being in the great state of Utah with all the wilderness and seclusion options with camping, I'm curious what kinds of lifestyle friendly camnpgrounds there are for those of us who are RV'ers? Do any of you have any experience with campgrounds like this or are there any camping type events held in the region which support us? I've always had this wild fantasy of being in a swingers camp and just roaming from one tent/rv to another like how they do it in Europe with the car parks....so naughty yet so much fun at the same time! NOBODY was going to ever answer any ad you put in the mag, so there wasn't any point in spending the big bucks on a Polaroid, and they didn't come out with cheaper ones that most people could afford until what, late '70s I think it was? (I wonder how many people on the site ever even saw one of those) Anyway,no need for a camera or a PO box for replies, there wouldn't ever be any replies. That "advantage" was offset big time by the fact that the only way you ever even knew about any gatherings, let alone got into them, was if someone knew you and asked you. Which hardly ever happened even if you knew a couple dozen swingers, like I did, because it WAS essentially wife swapping back then. Or if not full swapping, a sort of swapping with everyone in the same room So if you didn't have a lady with you, you had nothing to offer. I was incredibly lucky 'cause I was really good friends with a few couples, friends to the point that I once in a great while got to got with the mrs. to a party. If it weren't for that I doubt I'd have ever gotten into anything. I'm not certain, because it was something that never came up with me personally, but as far as I knew, back then single guys weren't even welcome if a couple brought them. It was all one guy and one girl, or forget about it. I don't really know what went on through the few mags, because, knowing it'd be a waste of time, I never bothered. And I never had to buy disco clothes, I grew up with Hippie rock and folk, and always hated disco as what destroyed rock and roll as well as folk. Hell, the only difference in my clothes now is that the jeans aren't flares or bells and the shirts aren't either flowered of psychedelic 'cause nobody makes them anymore. But I do still have Frye harness boots, same as in the '70s.

Swinging and the Mormon Church - - Well the natural man is an enemy to God... so honestly I agree with the whole double life thing, people are who they are, put on a facade to the majority. With Organized religion there is always a level of hypocrisy. Be discrete and let people be who they want to be. Whether you're Atheist, apart of Scientology , Lds, Catholic or most anything in society other than our awesome little group of swingers, you put on a face with everyone and let go here, so who is to say what is right or wrong? You're all on some kind of level of pervert so really there is no, "he is more of one than I." You are being promiscuous, or sleeping with a married person or being married and sexually not limited to your significant other. Sinners are everywhere, some justify their actions and are more comfortable with "letting go". Everyone's right or wrong varies and for those who decide to give in to their "wrong" all the sudden see the light and it's okay to do now, WOOPI!! I guess what I mean to say is: WHO CARES WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING WITH THEIR LIFE AND THEIR CHOICES!

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We agreed... swinging has greatly slowed down in the last few years, and it can still be fun, but not as fun and open minded as it used to be, We can see the point on the opening statement, and it you had been into swinging for longer of 5 years you need to admit the scene has changed, the events are more center on the money and getting more pricey over time, and it's not about the money to us and some comment we read that "if $30 to $50 is too much you have bigger problems" it s not the money but the value of the experience. We go on business to Vegas every other weekend and take the time and advantage of the opportunities there we spend 10 to 20 times the money we would spend here in Utah but it's worth it, i bet the events organizers here are great... all we are saying it's not like it use to be a few years back we miss those times...

Another perplexing experience - - In reply to wetfem there is nothing wrong with you as a cpl. We have had simular situations everything from "oh no your a yankee" to "your too old" of course they never said this to our face we just could tell from the way those nights went the bottom line is ,you cannot possibly be compatible with everyone you meet and chatting, talking on phone, and e-mails/messages gives you just a slight insight into who you are planning on meeting thats why for us for the most part at least folks local to us we do not spend alot of time chatting etc... we setup a face to face meeting very quickly and see where it leads most 1st meetings are strictly social and then we tell whomever we are meeting with lets make it" more private "next time that normally will lead to a positive response or a polite "we don't feel we are compatible". We have learned to laugh about the ones who choose not to bring it to a sexual level and consider it thier loss not ours . Being in the mid aged range we know that we are more uncompatible with the majority of the swingers who frequent sights like this my wife no where looks 47 People continue to guessed her age in her mid 20's (she drives those fair ages guessers crazy she has won every time lol) and when cpls/singles meet us face to face and we tell them our kids are 28 and 26 you can see the look on thier faces that is very obvious "They did not read our profile very well".
