Political Forum - POLL: Should we bring it into the rotation? - I think its quite cool that a rather large group of people find relatively common interests about sexual openness, sexual play, sexual fantasy etc... it's really cool that we share such an uncommon attitude about sex and yet we have such diverse opinions about Politics (and Religion) etc. Fascinating.
Years ago before I knew anything about or anyone involved in swinging I would have guessed that there would have been a more common social thread among swingers but as was mentioned before, its probably a pretty good cross section... So, it seems to me that if we are trying to connect at a fun playful sexual level the last thing we would want to do is find ways to disagree and reasons to disconnect from people by having a special "top five" forum category that is one of the 2 most divisive topics on the planet. It's tough enough to find couples that we connect with at enough levels to be play-friends.
So, I'd say, there are plenty of other places to fight about politics (or religion), we don't need it here and since you are asking for opinions here's mine: If you leave it in there will be some well thought out points made but it will be a source of argument, anger, and name calling... we've seen it before, just like anywhere else, people get ugly here too. If you take it out only a few will miss it. There are other places, plenty of them, to debate the un-win-able debates.
This is a play place, a fun safe place to escape the mundane and intolerant mainstreamers. We don't need to create ways to find intolerance and anger within this community too. I want to know how sexy and fun you are not what your politics are... (at least not till after breakfast in the morning! wink)

Facebook group - - I am an admin in a long-standing FB Swingers group for SouthEast Idaho and we're getting ready to close it down. It used to be there were privacy concerns where people who joined would risk exposing other members by sending friend requests to everybody but we were able to handle most of that by staying on top of things. Now, the FB rules and algorithm bots are going crazy. Posts from 2+ years ago are being randomly found and flagged. Posts from the admins are being flagged as well and we've been warned that if too many of these happen FB will shut the group down altogether. But this means two things; 1. the posts that make the page fun and free are all at risk of being auto flagged even though the group is private and 2. Even if a post is not flagged it's not truly private since the FB bots and possibly admins are scanning through everything that happens in every group. Really, the FB rule changes from 2 years ago make the group against their policy even by existing. The new rules read that a group cannot exist for the purpose of seeking or supporting the planning of any sexual activity.
Because of all this, our group has been migrating to MeWe and all official posts/events/polls are now hosted there. We'll also be deleting FB content that is likely to be flagged and closing down the group.

Preconceived Ideas - - It's been a long time, but I'm not sure that I had any preconceived ideas. I'm poly and responsibile non-monogamy was nothing new to me. On the other side of this relationship B knew I was Poly and she didn't quite understand it but trusted me. She was "curious" that is to say if she saw FF play in a flic she got so gushing wet.. but because of her catholic upbringing, she couldn't be Bi....that's a sin.....??.... Well we went to a party and luckily a couple and staff members sat down and talked to her and she watched people and talked to others and found out they were not pervs. Nurses and medical personel are probably the largest group in swinging. Cops, (police for the people who don't like the other term) truck drivers, mechnics, architects, contractors, engineers etc... So a good cross section of the general populaion are represented.. When she found this out...she embrassed the lifestyle and she loves to dance and... let her libido run. She was no longer curious after a couple of parties.... So she can get nude do whatever she wishes and even have orgasms on the dance floor dancin with herself.... WOW... So her preconceived ideas was that swingers were pervs... Oh...and I guess we are... Yes, Couples Oasis keeps popping up in our search. Based on the description my concern is that it's more like the meet and greet style event that we find here in Utah. Not exactly the reason I would go to LV since we can find those here! :)

Is anybody on this site for fucking real or just a bunch of tease - - It seems like there are basically two kinds of swingers.
