Excuse me? But are you guys swingers? - Excuse me? But are you guys swingers? - I think that just be respectful and ask straight up if they are in the "lifestyle" . If they aren't they won't know what you are talking about or if they are then you have a straight answer...yes. No one will ever be offended if they don't know what you are talking about. Also you might ask what they are talking about if they seem to be hinting..... Like ask... are you talking about swinging?... I guess it all depends on a number of factors... Are these people neighbors, someone you've just met and don't really know them or them you....Are these acquaintences that you know fairly well that are talking maybe to find out if you are in the lifestyle... So the reaponce is basically conditional... Can they hurt you? If not then what's to loose.
Disabled Swingers - - We have actually encountered a somewhat local couple who we really like, and she is in a wheelchair. I'm ashamed to say that we have not become very close, other than being friendly at parties as we're unsure of what is expected and what her "disability" is. Personally, I think it would be much easier to "approach" an obviously "disabled" person/couple if there was some sort of specified background on the disability and its limitations and requirements for that person- sexually speaking.... (Perhaps a basic run-thru in your profile?)
I know that several people suffer from different "ailments" that can sometimes be frustrating to potential sex partners. I myself (female half) have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and severe colitis - none of which have responded well (if at all) to treatment. These seemingly small (compared to being in a wheelchair) ailments can have a big impact on my sex life! I cannot always be trusted to show up at a party, and when I CAN, I'm often hurting so bad that "playing" is out of the question. When I DO play, I tire more quickly than I'd like, and certain positions are out of the question. Often, meeting for dinner is uncomfortable with the digestive "issues" that follow eating... etc. etc. So when we become friendly enough with people we might be interested in playing with, I have to be up-front and let them know what they're dealing with... even tho my problems may sound trivial, they're not to me, and they can and DO end up affecting my sexual performance and my social life, or lack thereof!
I don't like to say much, because to me it sounds like "whining" and the last thing I want to be is a whiner! However, we all need to realize that everyone has their own problems, obstacles, issues, etc and when we know what we're looking at, we can decide if it's going to be worth the effort to try and establish a sexual relationship. If people are aware of what you CAN do, they may be more willing to become involved. And if they're not willing to work with you and understand that you've got some limitations, but that you've still got alot going for you.. then you're probably better off without them. Pineapple Stickers - pineapple sticker = swingers? - Urban legend. Same with black rings. Are there swingers who have pineapple stickers (or tattoos) and wear black rings? Sure, but most swingers prefer to keep their little hobby a bit more discreet and I GUARANTEE that if pineapples and/or black rings were anything close to a universal sign/signal that someone was a swinger that word would quickly get out (probably within HOURS on the internet) and most swingers would stop doing it so they wouldn't be 'outed' by a society that still very much disapproves of consensual recreational sex with people other than your partner.
Here's a quick anecdote to prove my point. We went to a lifestyle resort hotel takeover in San Diego a number of years ago. The entire property was closed to anyone who didn't have an official wristband. It took all of about 2 hours for the entire resort staff to figure out what the wristbands meant and until the next day for everyone at nearby businesses and hotels to figure it out. People at the takeover quickly noticed that people at nearby stores and restaurants were actively looking for the wristbands and would look and point it out to others. Most of the attendees quickly started slipping off their wristbands or hiding them under watches or scrunchies and such. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
