You are correct. Marge Groening died recently in her 90s. The show's creator is Matt Groening of Portland, Oregon, who named the character after his mother. Mrs. Enlightened, in her college days, worked at an all night Portland diner and one of her regulars in the wee hours of the morning was a struggling young cartoonist who would doodle images on the napkins and get her thoughts. Yep, Matt Groening. She remembers panning his idea of a woman with big blue hair. Good thing he did not listen to her.
Groening no longer writes the episodes. There are about 16 writers, and occasionally they have a guest writer (quite often it is Joel Coen of Fargo and Big Lebowski fame). Always possible Seth MacFarlane is a guest writer.

This is 100% backed up by facts that includes testing everyone at the party for covid, finding some with advanced cases that cause almost everyone else to leave that party with covid right? Or in reality they busted a swingers party and have no real fact that covid was involved in any way. This is called non-factual news.
Reposting non factual news, and labeling people who decide to go out and live as “spreaders” is the same VERY POOR TASTE as labeling all the homeless people in Pioneer Park as HIV STD needle junkies. You have facts to back that up to right? Or again, you’re throwing labels on people you feel are less than you and don’t fit nor follow your views. But when you sit down and hang out you find that we are all so similar. We wanna live happily, feel safe, and have a little fun when we can.
What the world needs right now is love and compassion, not finger pointing and blame. How about we all make a deal on this forum to only post when we have something positive to say about someone else, or something fun and exciting we want to try or do. Recons 6th annual backyard bash! - - Just wanted to say a huge "thanks" to Recon for throwing another Phenomenal backyard party! Everything from The beds in the orchard, the tent, the lighting, the guests, the nudity, the food, the Taco Vendor from the corner of Sears on state...it was perfect! This was the best swingers party we have ever been to! We can't remember much after the second round of margarita's, but the hot, hot, hot people doing the "wiggle" on bed 3 in the orchard is etched in my mind ;) hahahaha! We were Happy to meet new couples, and it was good to see old friends, as well! Recon, we Love you two! Thanks for all your hard work for The 6th annual Summer Back Yard Bash!
