Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - I would like to point out one thing, when you are a single male you and you are straight and you want a couple then you bring nothing to table. You have nothing to offer the husband of the couple aside from a show but you are asking the man of the couple to share his wife with you with nothing more then a thank you in exchange, in most cases single men have a gf or wife but simply do not want to risk sharing them because they are afraid of losing them, having them leave or know thats what you want to start doing or will be trying to do or they do not want to take the effort and risk and time to get their partner involved.
There is also the point that alot of people have fetish's but I do not know alot of white couples that are interested in black men, not every woman like a cock over 8" either, there are some but we have not met very many and it seems to be a very select group and type of swinger. We have had single men in the past but those single men had the highest respect for our relationship, they also did not get anything right away and had to show their merit as a sincere person that wanted friendship but no emotional attachment. This might sound simplistic, but I have been approached by government agents, school principals, Fortune 500 CEO's and CFO's that are unable to provide a face picture but will email one as you mentioned. Why can't you put your face picture in your private pictures. The only people that would see it is the ones you granted access to? I am given some reasons for this from them, but most stem because of government conspiracy theories. Hoping that is not you. If you can be fooled granting access you can also be fooled sending your picture by email. I don't want to give out my email to single men or newly single men with or with out a wing woman. Assuming you are verified and I haven't checked that, but this would also insure the person you are communicating with that the picture is indeed you.
Just a thought.
Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - For context, I'm the male of the couple and have been on a single male profile for most of my time on this site. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone for the first time from this website. I send out the occasional email, and I get approached every once in a while, but nothing ever happens. For me, this was a place to stay connected with the people that I met in person, at parties and events and things like that. It has been a much more effective tool for that than for meeting people.
But like I said, I was a single male profile for a very long time. Now that we're on an account together, we might have more luck meeting other couples on here. We'll have to wait and see.
As for being approached... it varies. If it's someone I'm not interested in, I do usually try to reply and let them know that it's not going to work for whatever reason. I don't do that as often for single males, because I've had some bad experiences with them harassing me afterwards, but for couples I personally try to reply. Not everybody does, and I imagine that for some people who get lots of requests it would become time-consuming to reply to everyone.

Mormons - - We have met a lot of ex mormons on this site that are a blast to party with. Based on what we know of the LDS church it is very restrictive on most matters involving pleasures outside of the teachings of the church.
With all that being said we don't feel like religion plays much of a part in swinging. We usually don't discuss it and we are skeptical when others do. Discussing religion on a swingers site just doesn't seem right to us especially when others in your religion may hold it against you.
