Bitchfest here...... - - Having been in this lifestyle for quite some time, I've seen more than my share of drama. I think the most common misconception is that everyone is on the same mindset.
This is not the case for most. You would think that going to a meet and greet set up on a Swinger's site would be a license to "Act" like swingers to anyone you recognize from the site in a public setting. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal.
However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.
Lifestyle vacations - Best place for a lifestyle vacation? - We have only been on one. We went on the Bliss swingers cruise in March and it will be real hard to take any other type of cruise again unless we are with family. It was clean and classy. Clothing optional on the pool deck and a ton of activities. We had an absolute blast.

what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - WE've received emails and ims like that before... yes my wife is absolutely my best friend, and yes it pisses me off to see msgs like that. However i agree lifes too short to stay mad at them as well as the fact we'll see more action than he will. Wickedwanda is more forgiving about these folks ... we avoid the single guys online becasue most just don't know how to act. Now understand if we meet them in person we've met some very nice single men... that have contacted us online and we've said not interested. Difficult in finding Couples or single Males/ Females - - Hawkeye we know what you mean seems as though the cpls you are compatible with always seem to live far away we have plenty of swingers in our part of the country but most think we are too old for them we look in better shape than those who say we are too old lol. Hell we still both snow ski and even do a black run on occasion who is calling who old lol. Are we really as judgmental as vanilla people? - - Yes, many in the lifestyle are as judgmental as those outside. I am 15 pounds overweight but to some I am as broad ahat comess a battleship. What's more, after 34 years of marriage, 24 of which were in the lifestyle, my wife died. All of a sudden I was persona non grata at the club we attended because single males were not allowed. I had not changed, only my marital status. I have been pilloried and shunned because of being lumped with the FEW young single guys who don't have a clue. Now I have 3 strikes: I'm old, I'm slightly overweight, and single. I've learned these last 9 years that swingers are just as cruel, predjudiced and uncaring as other people.
