We have been to the meet and greets too and we don't go very often and have not been to one in ages. Maybe twice a year we hit one but when we do go we pretty much introduce ourselves to everybody and if we missed someone we didn't mean to. You do have to be proactive to be successful in meeting people or at least reactive in a positive fashion when someone interesting approaches you. We have been to Habits and ended up leaving with someone, but we had already had a bit of friendly back and forth somehow with the people we left with or it was someone we met previously and had at least chatted a bit. We think we have only been there maybe five times altogether. Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - We went to a Swingers Party for the New Year and have to say it was the worse I ever been to. Maybe it was us but I dont think if you go to a swingers party gives anyone the right to stick their tongue in your mouth that you dont know. I saw this going on and thought well alot of people here know eachother. Nope, turns out that wasnt the case. Most seem to enjoy the hellow I am so and so now open your mouth I am coming in. Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - That would be a general definition. However, sometimes the devil is in the details. With that definition, poly couples would be termed in the same group as swingers under the banner of libertine. So would soft swingers, etc, etc. We feel the definitions are kinda important because it causes awkwardness and waste of time if we don't know what we are getting into. For instance, if we talk and you are soft swingers, we now know we won't get anywhere fast because we are not into soft swinging. You, OTOH, will not have the awkward moment where we get together and at the last minute, we do something you don't like. IMO the labels help us filter out what we want from what we don't want.

Search abilities for international swingers. - Just a suggestion. - One of the things that we have noticed is that most swing sites do not have anything set up for swingers in other countries. If a site can be set up for each state in the US then why not for each country on each continent? There are many couples who travel to various locations around the world for vacations and it would be nice to know something of the local swinging scene. By broadening this web site to include international customers would that not also increase the profitability of the site? More customers means more cash flow. Scuba in Ventura California - Scuba Divers like it wet and deep. - I am a scuba diver spending my birthday diving Anacapa and Santa Rosa off California. I will be there the night of April 10th and leaving Sunday morning the 13th. Imus Fired - The beginning of the end of Free Speech? - - Well it would seem that the people have the right answers are the swingers (lol). I am happy that a discussion like this can take place and that valid points are brought out that all of us can agree upon. Unfortunately for us and the future generations our friend TR's wishes that it would all just cease to exist is probably a very long way off (as far as our entire society adopting this idea). However we (the minority---(all races that agree racism should be eradicated regardless of what nationality it's against) can try and improve our own litle space and just hope that it becomes infectious. I personally would like to be treated and try to treat others based on the way the carry themselves regardless of what you look like (it seems that people are not only mistreated based on color but height, weight, education, social status, financial income, and yes even choice of music preference---as noted here just to name a few). In a perfect world we would all be blindfolded and could only draw conclusions about someone based on their actions, and then again would even that be correct??? I mean I enjoy the fact that people are different from me and enjoy different things---I can learn from them and hopefully have something to offer them as well (not just sex---mind out of the gutter, just for a few---lol) This was made clear to me as I learned the name of an african American nascar driver just from reading the replies in this forum. While I doubt that the few of us here have the perfect solution to make this ugly problem go away, it is at least comforting to know that there are PEOPLE in this world and on this site that seem to have a genuine concern for the fair treatment of all, and for that I'm glad that even though it was a cyber meeting--I still had the chance to communicate with you all......................
