I believe the only way that one could truely avoid the heavy hand of the morality police is being organized as a church or truely a private club which whould require some form of selection process of club members. Renting a location per event is likely the best way to avoid problems. However I know how hard it is just to setup a dance on a per event basis, an on-premise event would be much more work. The effort may be worth it, especially if you have a lot of people to help.
One way we made this work was a once a year event where we rented out a hotel during the off-season. The innkeeper was very comfortable with us being there and we were the only people that could get a room that week-end every year. We had the full use of the convention center and the swimming pool.

Pitbulls are not the "most dangerous" breed by nature. The have a higher risk of attack, because many people mistreat them because of how they fight. Mis/Disinformation, ignorance and insecurity is what perpetuates intolerance

Saturdays Vortex Party - - Just an idea. Even the wife and I have talked about this. When we first started in the L/S back in NC. We went to hotel Parties. Then a cpl from FL baught a house just for swinger parties. They didnt live there just opened it up on sat. for swingers. It was privite house so you didnt have to worry about cops and you could pretty much do as you like. We had a good time at the V but did not like the fact that on the dance floor there was a wall of guys just stairing you down. I know Ut has its own rules. I Don't Care if You LIKE Me... Let's F**K! (???) - - Ok... We recently (accidentally) overheard a conversation between three "newbie" couples. Earlier, we had talked to them and during the conversation had briefly mentioned our personal ideas about "Friendships" vs. "Notches on the Bedpost". (We're Pro-Friendship). We explained that we have many friends in the Lifestyle that we have never played with - as (we believe) most Swingers do. (?)
Anyway, during the course of the later (overheard) conversation we heard from two different participants the comment (and I quote), "I don't CARE if you LIKE me, Just F**k me and I don't care if I never see you again."
At first, we were annoyed with this attitude. Then somewhat amused. Now we're just curious... about how many "Seasoned" Swingers have this "You don't have to like me - Just let me F**k you" attitude... and how exactly that works? (We figure that if we don't like someone, why in the world would we share ourselves THAT PERSONALLY with them?) HOWEVER, we realize that not everyone thinks like we do and that there are a lot of different attitudes and feelings about the Lifestyle... and we're really curious now!
