KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - This is also my first comment on this site. Normally I keep to myself but I have to speak about this. I am a divorcee and now me and my lovely, amazing, sexy, new partner are living happily together and we are swingers. She was in the lifestyle before and I was a little bit before also. Me and my ex were not on any site and didn't do it regularly but I think three times we had done something with other couples. In my case our marriage was in a downward spiral and it was not because of the swinging. It was not going to work no matter what. Of course she would bring up the event during an argument but there were many other issues that's caused more serious problems.
I watched the link and from what I gather this gal is not that attractive ( at least to me ) and she has a sour taste in her mouth about swingers ( no pun intended ) because they did not have good experiences in the lifestyle. So I put the blame on them for this , not swinging or swingers. We have had some wonderful times and have meant some great friends doing this.
Thought on "E" - - We firmly believe that everyone should have the right to choose. People should be able to do whatever they want with their own lives. It's funny because people do look down on swinging or swingers yet we all meet here, exercising our right to choose our own lifestyle. Why should it be different with anything else ???? Swinging irresponsibly is very dangerous and can lead to stds that can ultimately end in death. Its quite possible that something may occur even if you thought you were playing it safe. Same with drugs ,they can be risky as well, and there isn't anyway to safeproof yourselves 100%. I think that everyone should just go on living their lives the way they see fit and not judge anyone else for the way they choose to live theirs.

As to the to old to fat comment...A lot of people are "fantasy swingers" and as soon as they have some sort of real contact, they have to quickly find an excuse to turn you off...and what woman, no matter how big she is, would NOT be turned off by that comment?

Have you noticed? - Admin. doesn't give a SHIT!!! - Hmmm, yeah I think everyone has noticed but I'm not really sure that it makes all that much difference at this point. Swingsites are slowly dying and will, in the not too distant future, cease to exist...at least in the form that they're in now.
The swingsite that was basically the model for Swingular (And ADMIN got kicked off of when he started Swingular.-LOL) is more or less a ghost town at this point. We're lifetime members of both and the other one used to have a HUGE, vibrant, swinger community that was pretty much nationwide and now there are just a handful of people who actively participate in the forums and other features on the webpage.
Swingular won't be too far behind (What is Utah, like 5 or 10 years behind the rest of the country? LOL) and even Kasidie will eventually succumb to the pressure of other types of media and even easier ways to connect with others. Additionally, many younger "swingers" are simply bypassing swinging altogether and just hooking up with other people without giving it a label or having any kind of formal community. *shrug*
In the meantime, Swingular has become more and more just a venue for people to peddle their services and/or place redundant "classified ads" seeking what they've already stated they're seeking in their profiles. LOL

Difficult in finding Couples or single Males/ Females - - Hawkeye we know what you mean seems as though the cpls you are compatible with always seem to live far away we have plenty of swingers in our part of the country but most think we are too old for them we look in better shape than those who say we are too old lol. Hell we still both snow ski and even do a black run on occasion who is calling who old lol. Has swinging changed? - - We know there are always a lot of noobs so this might not be the best question for them but for those of you who've been doing this a while, has the lifestyle changed? If so, in what way and has it changed for the better? We started swinging MANY years ago. In fact we were still in college! Now we've never been really hard core swingers and have taken many breaks over the years...sometimes for years; when we've had other stuff going on in our lives and/or we needed time for ourselves. But we've seen some fairly drastic shifts in the whole vibe in the lifestyle especially the past 5 years or so and wondered if anyone else has noticed this?
