Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.

AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. Dinner party - - We would love to attend a classy party so tired of the stand around slamming drinks with people type party. I think the wife and I would be more inclined to enjoy a touch of class and I know from there things could become more and as for fun oh HELL yes!!!! Our experiences has shown that there are a lot of people on swinger sites that don't take the time to read the ENTIRE profile before writing. No matter how clearly you try to write up your profile there will ALWAYS be people that are so intent at sending messages out they don't take the time to read.
One site we goto we have all our contact info in the profile and even put in the profile 3 times that we can't respond back since we are not paid members. We have lost count of how many times people don't read this even though it's clearly marked in the profile.
Taking the time... - - I have actually turned down invitations from VERY experienced swingers mindful and concerned about being fully able to play my part in accordance with what I imagine their standards might be and/or probably are. I would prefer, still, to play with less experienced people and learn the ropes, so to speak. One of my interests in pursuing this at all is to learn more about sexuality ... others' as well as my own.

If you do the math, you'll find there are more younger couples on the cruise than there are at Hedo -- even during Young Swingers Week. But not by much. We like the diversity of activities / things to do on the cruise ship -- and the higher-end restaurants and accommodations.
But I've heard VERY VERY good things about Young Swingers Week... I think you're going to have a blast.
