Profiles? - - I think for most of us that live outside of the greater Salt Lake area its about location. We live in Southern Utah, which is a swingers wasteland.
Do people even read profiles? I think they just look at pics and if they like what they see they may read part of your profile, but not really pay attention to it.

On a more serious note. Religion, (regardless of what name you give it, ie: jews, mormons, catholics, whatever), is your belief in a supreme being. How you believe is personal. Although we may not follow the rules of our church, who's right is it to determine wheither we are christian or not? Any true believer in any religion knows that every great religious leader had emphisized over and over... its not ours to judge.. thats up to the supreme being you follow. We know alot of wonderful people who are wayward according to their church, but exhibit more respectable behavior than some of those people who claim to be so strict in their obediance to their church rules.

hotel party advice - - I've never been to a hotel party for the purpose of meeting swingers/possible swinging. Has any one else been? We've been invited next weekend and I'd like to know what to expect. I'm already discussing it with the Mr since he seems to be a little more forward than I. Well polyamory is defined as having more then one love. Isn't that the same as saying friends with benefits. Well yes it is. True swinging is having sex just for the sake of having sex. No talking ...no getting to know each other...not caring one iota about the other person. Basically have sex and if the other person dies on the way home ...who give gives a shit!
Not us...not at all. To me this lifestyle is a scale ....true swinger on the one side and true polyamory on the other...We are closer to the poly side as opposed to the true swinger side. WHat is so wonderful about that side is we can have fun with other people even if no actual sex occurs. Sometimes its nice to just be able to go out with like minded folks.
Just wanted to let the people who feel the way we do understand that thier is others with the same thought process.
