I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more.
So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways.
Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy.
And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts.
We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.
Favorite bars in utah - - Yes, I read the article. Our experience (getting close to 30 years in the swinging trenches) has shown that the authorities almost invariably use other (easier to prosecute) issues to shut down naughty things like swinging parties. Recently in Texas they're trying to use zoning ordinances and disturbing the peace and, believe it or not, parking ordinances. Quite often it's alcohol related. Not too many years ago with a local, fairly prominent swinger who held frequent parties in his upscale neighborhood they nailed him for providing alcohol to minors (apparently one girl at one of his parties was not yet 21).
And I would ague that Las Vegas is anything but tolerant for swingers parties or really anything related to sex. They love to sell the idea of sex but when the rubber meets the road they are as intolerant as anywhere we've been. I don't remember the last hotel takeover we attended in Vegas where a topless pool wasn't promised and then shut down by the local authorities. Of course the big money hotels have absolutely no problem providing topless pools...if they can charge a hefty premium to do so. Vegas is all sizzle and no steak (in the vernacular of my grandfather).

Well thank you! Sorry, didn't mean to come off as an old curmudgeon. It's just kind of weird to us to go to swing parties nowadays and see like a third (or more!) of the people tapping/swiping text into their phones while other people are gettin' their sexy on. Don't get me wrong. I'd rather give up beer than live without my smart phone but it seems kind of silly to be so absorbed in it when one is ostensibly at a party to hook up and have sex with other people. Cypress Cove Nudist Resort & Spa - Information - Cypress Cove is very nice. It is the oldest nudist resort in Florida, but has had many improvements. There are two pools, a hot tub, resturants and a large lake that you can paddle boat in.
The crowd is older than Paradise Lakes or Caliente so you will feel young. There are swingers around, but atmosphere is pretty quiet. The accomodations are very nice, close to the pools and the other activities.
I am sure you will enjoy your stay. We love to go there for a quiet weekend getaway and we do know a lot of other couples in the lifestyle that go there.

Mansion Massage Mixer reviews/info? - - Their ad. states "Single males must bring a date or be accompanied by a hosting couple". We've only been to one so we're going back tonite & see if our 1st impression was correct. #1 The Mansion is a super cool place, well worth visiting. #2 - seemed to be couples in the 30's - 40's. Not many of us "more mature" swingers there. #3 Didn't see much playing, a little in the hot tub, but the massages looked awesome! #4 We left about 12:00 so the party may have warmed up after we left.
If your family or non swinging friends found out you swing - - In UT it has some different connotations because of the predominant religion here. Although a few of the people we have met are still practicing, it is definately frowned upon and the majority have parents or family that are still card carrying (*UT JOKE) members.
So, that the big risk of being found out, but they way we look at it, if my family came to me and said "so and so said that you were swingers...." my response would be "my sex life is private, just like yours, and if you want to tell me how your wife likes it and give me all the sordid details of your sex life, then I can answer your question, if not, we both can go on our merry way and not delve into each others sex lives, where it is none of our business anyhow!"
