Disabled Swingers - -
We don't post in the forum often but we feel this is a good time. Me being the male half of the couple and the wife being in a chair have been through this at the beginning. Sure there are people out there that for some reason have a problem, but you will find more people that are open to the experience. We have met cuntrybumpkins at parties and they are great people. We have met alot of great people from swingular that look at her as a person and dont even notice the chair and for that there have been many memorable times. Majesticwolf also very cool Naughty and Lucky the list goes on and we hope not to ofend the others by not mentioning them. We have even met Rob several years back and he is also an awesome person. The point is don't be discouraged, keep on getting out to meet people. One thing she would like to see is for people to just come right out and ask, to her that is the most polite way to get to know her and find out what her limitations are. Which are very few. twobears
Awww, thank you!!! You guys are awesome, very cool people and we are the ones who are lucky to know you guys!! Kisses...Naugh-Ty

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

Black rings. Does anybody even wear them? - -
Is the black ring well known in LS groups, we are new to LS and have not heard or noticed.
Not as frequently as you might think. You probably see it on swingers that have been active for awhile. You see a couple with black rings on the right hand and they probably have some good stories to tell.

Swingers at work... - - Yes it's fascinating, what kind of reaction you will get from people when you realize that you know them from some where else. I (male) had a similar experience on one of my many business trips. I was visiting a place far from home and was searching the local area as I do for someone to meet and try to find a tour guide of the local area. I have always figured why not be a swinger, because if we hit it off then everyone wins, new friends in different parts of the country. Anyway, I arrived at my business location and after about three days of working with this certain gentleman I notice A photo on his desk that was identical to one they had on their profile (different site mind you) now we had been working together for almost a week straight and he was a very nice man. So I pondered how I would suggest that I had seen the picture somewhere else, I figured that a nice little greeting card was the way to go. I politely wrote in the card, something along the lines of "I believe I have seen you and your wife on the site (bla, bla, bla,) and was interested in whether you two would like to spend sometime showing me the local area. Not once suggesting that we play. I gave him the card on a Friday, and I let it go for the weekend, hoping to chat with him and see what their reply would be. When I arrived at my work station on the following Monday I found out he called in sick, and had scheduled vacation for the rest of the week that I would still be there. I never did get any reply other then the cold shoulder. As I said it's very fascinating what kind of reactions you get from people.

Fort Bridger Rendezvous - - There’s swingers at the rendezvous?!? I’ll be stopping in my way to The Gorge if you have any use for an attractive single guy.. KIK justaguy_420

Feelings on Karma - spouses in a open relationship that break the rules, then will allow you to also - Are you serious? If it sounds like a good topic for The Jerry Springer Show... People like that are not good "swingers" for lack of a better term. They are foolishly wagering their relationships to be self indulgant (sp?). The Lifestyle is about TRUST. It is about HONESTY. and believe it or not, supreme COMMITTMENT. I dont even really see how your situation has anything to do with swinging. The rules were set. The rules were broken. It is simply CHEATING. Anyone who would enter in to a committed relationship, whatever type it is, only to break the rules that you two have agreed on as a couple is selfish in my book. This means you had NO respect for your partner. NO respect for thier feelings. And absolutely NO respect for the relationship. So why bother!? Cheating is NOT a tennis ball to be whacked back and forth between courts, or awarded as some kind of concellation prize to the victim when one is caught. I think that behavior is just sick. But thats just my little tiny .02 cents. Luvbugs! (mR.) :s

Hey - - Okay...the lack of compassion and depravity that others have never ceases to amaze me. Not five minutes after posting my reply...here is the private email I got from "someone" who had previously posted on this thread...a.k.a. UTCPL... Thought, You should get on a plane and go fuck this poor sap. In case you have not realized it yet this is a swingers sight not Dr. Phil's show. Maybe one or the both of you are the ones that need a good ass-fucking. It just might loosen up that tight sphincter you apparently have! Your true character is really shining at at it's best this weekend UTCPL. Any more methods you might employ to make proverbial asses out of yourselves? Maybe I need to get some popcorn and kick back to watch the ensuing show, eh?

Feeling a bit far out in left field.. - How to meet people... -
Adult friend finder is not a bad place to start either. More singles than couples but the singles may lead you to some gatherings or meet an greets. Also on yahoo groups there is a group called Minn-Dak_social_club. Its a fairly active group that I have used when I travel to North Dakota but I know there are few South Dakotans on it. Also I know its a ways off but when Sturgis is happening there are a few groups that magically pop up around that time keep your eyes open. SLS is a great lifestyle site that can also point you in the right direction. Try this site also http://www.fabswingers.com/browse/country/USA/South_Dakota Just google South Dakota Swingers lots of different places. May take a little work but worth the effort. Good luck
If you ever come back through or into the area...;)

western slope colorado swingers - trying to find fellow swingers - Just wait till 2013 and they will cum lmao.

Isn't It All About Marketing? - Interesting what people post in profiles and pictures - I find all aspects of the lifestyle interesting. One of the most interesting is what swingers post on these types of sites - who they are, what they are looking for, and their public and private pictures. Isn't it all about market ourselves? I will not make any judgmental remarks here, because we should not be judgmental in the lifestyle; however, sometimes I wonder what they are trying to communicate. Because I am a professional website designer I probably look at things differently, also because I am a voyeur I like to see good quality images - ones that show me something about what can be expected in sexual play. I also wonder if I am reading/seeing more in things that are posted than are really intended - i.e., personality, intelligence, playfulness, etc. Thus my questions: Do people take the time here to make a good impression? Are they trying to open doors or to close deals? Do they do well at marketing themselves? Do you have opinions about what is good marketing on a swinger site? Cheers, Charles for Lauri and Me
