Swinger Literature? - magazine articles, books, web articles... - As EdNBrenda said a very good book would be "The Lifestyle." It is a little bit dated but the book is research based and has a lot of interesting information from history to demographics. It is not a book to grab for raw excitement but a very good book for intellectual discussion. What makes it unique is the book seems very objective and was written by a non swinger doing his research as an observer of the lifestyle. Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I think the fact that the site hasn't offered lifetime membership specials for so long has really impacted people's ability to connect with newer couples. They come and go too quickly to really follow people, and only the older couples are here to stay, and they often already have their close friends and might not reach out as often. The monthly fee is just too steep for what you get here considering the current level of activity. Those who are lifetime members don't have to worry about losing connections when the don't pay the bill, but they grow tired of connecting with others only to see them disappear from the site for non-payment. I say bring back the lifetime memberships and treat this site like what it is: a social network that benefits from more members and activity.

There are tons of people out there that are seeking single males.
But of all the couples seeking out there, what is the odds of running into such a couple? IOW, if you look at the whole game, is there a better chance of finding a couple that is seeking a couple, seeking a single female or seeking a single male?
Most of the couples we know say they are looking for couples or single females while a few might be ok with single males once in a while. Maybe it is a WI thing.
How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Curious... how many of the previous posters (or anyone on here for that matter) are on their FIRST marriage and have been "successful" swingers for 4-5 years+ ?
Tally those numbers and see if it makes marriages better. Would also be curious about second, third, fourth marriages (but those are harder because a lot have met in the lifestyle and/or came from a marriage that ended in infidelity). Still, have wondered.
P.S. EVILDOERS Mrs cntrl has been told that a couple of times as well.
OUTSOURCING - - I thought this was very humorous. My wife and i have been swingers for a while and she is not currently playing the game. while joking around about she not being able to keep up with me she tells me "That is why I outsource you". We take that approach to anyone, including. Even couples have to "prove" themselves to us. We've found more asshole married dudes than in the single male side.
I have a question for those of you that allow single females and not single males. You could use the they "bring nothing to the table" argument as well. After all, many of them don't want to play with the male half.

Monday, must be time for a new poll. - The Dad Bod - Maybe. But since the 'dad bod' thing seems to be trending on the internet right now I thought I'd see what female swingers thought about it. And yes, women, in general look for different things in a partner than men often do but in swinging, since they're not looking for fidelity or someone who is a good provider or a good father perhaps they would indeed be more critical of physical failings (more like men?) than they would in the vanilla world.
What if??? - Some body's worst night mare. - To tell the truth I would have more appreciation for my family members if I knew they were swingers. I would love to be that opened about the relationship that my husband and I have. This is something my husband and I are confortable with but we cannot share with others due to close mindedness. I think if they were swingers they would have more respect for their partners. I would love for my parents to be into swinging and I would not hide.
