We (Tami and I) have never ran across anyone that said they didn't want to have sex and only wanted to make friends. We have ran across those that want to be friends (have trust established), first. The latter I can totally understand, as we are two people that require trust in people we play with. We also find attraction in the personality and minds of the individual. Have there been exceptions for us? Yes, however, we have found that "spur of the moment" play was unsatisfying and regrettable. We try not to label people. We just avoid those that are into something we are not. Just as a couple not into anal sex would avoid sexual contact with those seeking anal. We avoid those that want to hook-up on first meetings without inhibition. Why? There are forceful individuals, there are deviants, there are bi-sexual males that think they can touch without permission, there are people who drug others, there are people that smoke pot and others that can't be around it due to their profession. The latter doesn't have to end a friendship as we happen to be in professions that don't allow exposure, we just had to perfect a little dance with our pot smoking friends. Many people view this as a "lifestyle". We certainly view the "free thought and expression" as a "lifestyle" but the "sex with others", is a recreational thing that we can turn on and off like a switch. I think there are a number of ways to get around any issues. What happens on a private residence is up to those who own the property. I think this is one of the reasons it would have to be a private club, members only. What consenting adults choose to do isn't illegal in a venue like a club any more than it is illegal in a private residence. The trick, as I understand it, is that the venue cannot be a public venue because then you run into public exposure and indecency laws. I could be wrong, and I would have to find someone who understands these kind of laws... the question is... who would actually know... lol. You are correct, there will certainly be some challenges, but I think they can be worked through. As for your idea of renting a house or something like that, I have thought about the same thing and it may be a good idea. Not a fix for what is needed in a club, but it is a start. That Moment - - All of the time....I try to not look like myself in public....I make sure I look like a slob(well not a slob but more clothes lol). Herwoody801, A dance floor is something we were planning, but we would want it in a separate area so there were still areas where people could chat without loud thumping music in their ears. Wildfire, Being super private, discreet, and extremely safe is something that would be our top priority. We have no desire to have our sexuality on display for the rest of the world either. I am considering making it a private club, which it would probably have to be for legal purposes, and we would have to create some kind of vetting process where you can only become a member if you know a member who can vouch for you, type of thing. That way we can make sure that everyone who is showing up is someone who is either part of the lifestyle already or seriously considering to be part of it. The last thing we want is to have "outsiders" coming just to gawk and potentially cause problems. Additionally, cameras and cell phones would have to be left upon entrance so there would be no risk of cameras on site that could compromise the privacy of the guests.
