Opening your marriage - How did the conversation come up? - For us it was easier that way. We started out just wanting to be swingers, but with family it was easier for us to play separate. Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... Single males?...hmm..I've had plenty of single males over the past 5 years who make their pointless attempts at hooking up with me and or my husband in a three way scenario. Granted, I am about as adventurous as you can get. I have no specific problem with the single guy hitting on me, but the drama that tends to wrap itself around me after is just something I don't need or want. I was very into a single guy a couple of years back and he did actually become one of my best friends to this day and is now married, but that, in itself, was riddled in drama created by nosy, big mouthed people who always want to start shit instead of minding their own business. If you decide you like someone for a while and are seen with them more than not, people say you are "exclusive" and try to put false damage on your marital status. Get a life, assholes.
So...single males?...Enjoy yourselves...be respectful...and don't get too excited thinking you're every married couples answer to their failed marriage..swingers, when they are stable, are out there for fun. Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table.
As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses.
AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality.
