Orgy Party by Swingers Circle in Las Vegas - - Thank you for all the comments so far! Seems to be so hard to find good swinger activities anymore unless you are in the "IN" crowd! We've been "OUT" for awhile and just getting back in :)

TALKING TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT THE LIFESTYLE? - - OK, here's something just a bit off the subject - or is it? Let's say you had your kids when you were pretty young, which means you and your spouse are both STILL relatively young. You've been swinging since the kids were mere toddlers - and you're still active swingers. But, as far as you know, the kids have never known about your alternative Lifestyle. Now that the kids are grown and out on their own, one night, you're at a swingers club, a house party or a meet-and-greet - and one of your kids show up with their spouse/signigicant other/date - and they're already friends with several of the people there. What happens from here?

Orgy Party by Swingers Circle in Las Vegas - - The Red Rooster. Especially if you like kickin' it old school. The orgy pit is a must do. Just lube yourself up and dive in. [em]Emo_67[/em]

Club 90 party - - We have been in the lifestyle for over 10 years together and we usually do not worry about these kind of things, because they are usually in other cities and states. But if you all remember the murder of that young girl in San Diego, Ca and they focused on the parents being swingers and not the dejected nieghbor who killed that poor little girl. Link: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/05/16/national/main509253.shtml Here is a good one for those who want to know what can happen to a club. Link: http://www.metroactive.com/papers/metro/02.27.03/swingers-0309.html here is another that i found interesting. Link: http://www.timesunion.com/AspStories/story.asp?storyID=444851&category=REGION&newsdate=1/29/2006 we are going to make our pic's privatefrom now on(face pic's), not to hide from our family and friends, who already know about our lifestyle, but the people who we work with that will not be as understanding. What I do is sells and if anyone found out in my field that we are swingers, I could have a drop off of my sales quick enough to put me out of business. I already have a hard time selling to certain companies because i am not Morman, now just add to that i am a swinger, i will never sell them anything ever and most of them would let it be known throughout my industry. We hope to meet many more people on this site, but this will make it a lot harder to do so, the screening process just got a little more complicated. Enjoy the party, but i do not think that is where the problem is in this story.

Open Topic - Seduced a \"vanilla\" person last night... - **It seems that many \"vanilla\" people aren\'t as vanilla as they would seem when given an opportunity to be with a hot couple. lol ** Aint it the truth! I think that most single men are complete closet swingers anyway. I dont even think the term \"swinger\" should really apply. It is more like that big red button on those staples commercials...push it and instant Git Er Done! gratification! I can not think of one single, horny male that would pass on the opportunity if it was presented. Luvbugs! :h

Finding a balance - Swinging and Religion - - This has always been a tough controversy. Religion, swinging. I am agnostic and my GF was LDS. Her family is hardcore LDS still and pushed the faith on their daughter (my GF) and her kids even. They preach that they want their whole family in the religion cuz they need to know "right from wrong". I asked the kids (8 & 6 yrs old) what they learn in church.. seems to me all they learn about is how great their "savior" is, how he loves us, and we can look to him, and family is a "unit".. they dont seem to learn anythign about right and wrong. Yet.. her parents try to preach to me that their religion teaches them right from wrong and that their "right & wrong" is the correct one. They are also very controlling, judgemental, pushy, 2-faced, and negative in every aspect... OMG! is this what u learn in church and how family is supposed to be?? They found out we swing, and told me its adultry and we're cheating and its immoral.. OK, umm.. we;re not married and what we do is 100% consentual... funny, but seems like the more LDS we meet, the more seem to be JACK mormons. so why are LDS swinging or why are swingers in religions that condem it? is it just for the prestige and status of being in the church and to shut the family up?? Ok, #1, I hate ppl who follow a faith and feel theirs is the correct one so much that they push it on everyone and judge other beliefs as the wrong ones rather then understanding tolerance and the fact that there is no such thing as right or wrong... only opinion and difference... what works for you may not work for me. #2, I hate hypocrates. ppl who preach about how much they follow their religion, go to church and lie in front of everyone there about how much they follow the rules and how the church has saved them.. Then, behind closed doors, they go against everything they believe in. Then they preach about how much they follow their churches rules and its "right & wrong" is the ultimate. Those ppl are called liars and 2-facers.. #3, Kids should be taught "Right & Wrong" from their parents, not a group of ppl that i described in examples #1 & #2. WTF do they know?? Kids should also be introduced to church by their own choice and when they are old enuf to understand it. In my opinion, If you wanna swing, then it doesnt seem like u really believe in ur church's beliefs... why are u in it? If u believe ur church's teachings above all.. then why are you swinging? I have nuthing against either, but I think its best to pick a side. Thats why I dont follow any religion.. I dont believe in any of them... too many hypocrates, liars, 2-facers, judgemental, stuck-ups... people who are willing to bend and cheat their own rules, morals and beliefs behind closed doors and especially when its to their benefit...

I Have A Question - Poly vs. Open -
Thanks for the responses so far. I thought of a couple of additional questions. Are you seeking, finding and connecting with other open/poly people here on Swingular or are you finding people thru other means? Also, do you find that most of the people you connect with are single or are they in their own primary relationships? Does it matter much to you if they are single or coupled?
Great question. Almost exclusively non swinger community singles surprisingly. Have tried amongst the swingers but they seem to have a very quid pro quo mentality.

KSL swing story - - For those of you guys out of town. This is the transcript from the KSL website. "Everyone has shared their partners with everyone else in the room." "You're in happy valley and you think nothing like that could happen." An Eyewitness News Investigation takes us inside a delicate subject few people like to talk about -- infidelity, couples cheating, in secret, in the open, and joining a movement that appears to be gaining momentum. We heard persistent rumors that spouse-swapping and adultery is commonplace in certain suburban neighborhoods. We discovered those rumors were based on at least some truth. People told us they were being recruited -- marriage counselors say they are seeing more if it. There aren't statistics or easy answers, but it's clear the effects can be devastating. Love, commitment, holy matrimony. In Utah, where marriage vows and family values run deep. Woman: "They said it was more exciting when their spouse was involved." This story will open eyes to something many would like to keep secret. "It was taboo within their religious background." "I thought, this can't be happening here. This is Utah." Sometimes it's kept very quiet, among neighbors and friends. Other times, it's out in the open. Studies show infidelity is to blame for more than half of divorces in Utah. What we found surprised even experts. We knocked on doors, attended a party. We heard stories by phone, by email, but nothing could match what we heard in a pocket of Draper. "Something was wrong with every other neighbor in that neighborhood." Her husband's indiscretions shattered their marriage. "Intensely, intensely painful. It's the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life." The divorce final, he remarried one of their neighbors within a week. It seems adultery ran rampant. Up the block it was consensual with other married neighbors cheating together. People told us they moved to get away from it and stayed inside to avoid it. Across town one woman told us she just wanted to run from it: "Everyone in the room had shared their partners with everyone else in the room. These people had been married five, 10, 20 years." She and her husband were invited to a barbeque with couples from Draper, Provo, Sandy and Salt Lake. A doctor made a move. "He's hitting on me, like he's single, and his wife's sitting right there. I think, there's another motive to this party and it's not just to hang out and meet new people." They got out of there. While there's no data, experts say it's proof of a trend. Vicky Burgess/Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist: "I think, because sexual relations and sex itself is more open, I think we're seeing more of it." We found there are several parties where couples can meet. Randy Chatelain, Ph.D./ Marriage and Family Therapist: "I believe this kind of behavior is going to catch up with a couple, because where does it stop? What more do you have to involve to create the high?" Hundreds of couples pack a popular Sandy nightclub. "A lot of people nowadays have fantasies and they want to fulfill them with their significant other. This is the best way to do that." This man, who asked not to be identified, built a business, helping couples meet at parties. His website suggests spouses can be in love and still enjoy sex with others. "They figure, 'I would much rather do it with the person I love than have them do it behind my back.'" From the looks of it, he's pretty successful. He has 4,000 members living in Utah. How fast is it growing? Four years ago there were 150 members. How common is it? Posing as a married woman, we signed up on a website aimed at so-called "swingers." In six days, 70 married men, most from Utah, ask to start a fling.
