geting in LOVE while swinging - - Someone mentioned Polyamory. Poly people, at least in most communities, feel that swinging and poly are not compatible.. Fact is, why not? If you are open and honest about your poly leanings and totally honest with your mate and any relationships you may have... then why not poly as well. I know that several people in here and on other sites, swingers feel threatened if you are overtly open abut your feelings. If one truely loves and trusts their partner/SO/wives; husbands/girlfriends; bopyfriends and whatever other relationships that I may have missed, they should not be threatened. If you fall in love with someone that you have sex with.... you have 2 choices..... Tell that person and their spouse and your spouce and see where it goes or simply walk away with the thoughts and get on with your life. The 3rd option is not an option.... If one is poly...thier primary relationship/s take precedence.
It is my belief that poly and swinging are not only compatable but that it love happens when one least expects it and has to be handled. Even the vanilla schmuck sees or talks to others and sometimes form closer relationships but don't wish that to affect their perfect marriage. How is that handled? Sometimes it simply cools down or sometimes it ends in a short or long term relationship with or without sex. Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - My experiance,I think it has to do more with that label that we as a married cpl put on single guys.... I think that (by my experiance) 75 to 80% of the single guys are pushy....
example: I blocked a single guy not too long ago because he was obnocxious on his e-mails... well he got my yahoo screenname from a group discussion post and IM'd me today.... now with a diferent approche.... he was so dumb as to tell me, "for some reason you have me blocked... I can't see your profile or your pics".... that was it... hello if you are blocked on the site that means I don't want to talk to you.... tahdah... blocked again on another site...
Some guys just don't get the hint and keep pushing, that is why WE don't care for single guys... our time is precious and to waist it on someone like that... no use...
Now, I know that for SOME (not all) it is a racial thing... for SOME it might be the reports of the CDC or just the screename like one of the cpls mentioned... I think everyone has their own reason as to why NOT wanting to play with single men.

We're lifetime members of both and the other one used to have a HUGE, vibrant, swinger community that was pretty much nationwide and now there are just a handful of people who actively participate in the forums and other features on the webpage.
Swingular won't be too far behind (What is Utah, like 5 or 10 years behind the rest of the country? LOL) and even Kasidie will eventually succumb to the pressure of other types of media and even easier ways to connect with others. Additionally, many younger "swingers" are simply bypassing swinging altogether and just hooking up with other people without giving it a label or having any kind of formal community. *shrug*
In the meantime, Swingular has become more and more just a venue for people to peddle their services and/or place redundant "classified ads" seeking what they've already stated they're seeking in their profiles. LOL

Forum disagreements and swinging (was Something for Lefty) - - You know what??? I thought this was a swingers forum. A place to meet people and make friends. What on earth are you doing bringing war and politics in here? Politics is just like religion. Everyone has their own thoughts and beliefs and it's their right to. My thoughts and opinions are that this forum is no place to discuss either. Seems that some start these kinds of threads just to start heated and argumentitive discussion. Also by the persistance i see, they also like to hear themselves talk. Well why don't you take it to a political forum and give us a break. Here's something Ive been curious about - - Well we have been doing this hmmmmmmmmm 15 years and don't consider ourselves to be Swingers either, not that there is anything wrong with that. We without putting a label on it, consider ourselves to be sexually open minded couple. We have played with couples and singles but we don't play with everyone we meet. And yes some of the singles we played with we don't even now consider them lifestyle or swinger just curious wanting to experiment so they did. Most of all we enjoy the social openness that this affords us the opportunity to meet others in a physical way and the friendship we have made. Plus being able to experiment and share fantasy's of are own. If you find something more exciting than sex, keep it to yourself, we are having way too much fun!
