Swingers Next Door! - ABC news story on Swinging! - There is a REAL reality show about swingers! Or as close as you can get. Completely unscripted, completely real! They only ask to restart a scene if they missed audio or need additional video (they are trying to tell a story, so it only makes sense that they do this)... The show represents the lifestyle in a sexy and accurate way. We've participated in the show two different seasons (on 5 episodes total) and will continue to do so as long as they let us. They do it with integrity and we are both incredibly proud to say that we are a part of such a great show. It's on Playboy TV, it's called SWING! Nothing like the drama filled, scripted, and utterly unrealistic show on A&E. We highly recommend checking it out! We're going to try and have a party as each episode releases for the upcoming season with our lifestyle friends (everyone should!). What are our professions - - My husband and I were curious as to the professions of most swingers. We have found that alot of the couples we have met with or conversed with are either school teachers or police officers. I would say first off to give it time.
Trust and friendships within the swinging community often takes time and cultivating.
It is a large and close-knit community...which means that the more people that you meet, you will meet their friends and get more peeps in your "swinging network".
Only being on this site for 2 weeks means that your exposure to the social side of the community has been VERY limited. To compound that, you're legally underage for the types of activities (drinking) and venues that many of these activities occur.
Be patient, and look for the other ways to meet people on here.
The chat room is always a good start, there is a good variety of swingers from all age groups and social statuses that are there.
Being active (in a POSITIVE, not argumentative way...we all know who we are) on the Forum threads is another way to get yourselves better known.
What I would NOT do, however...is whine that you're not getting any chances given to you. That arguement is certainly not unique to the younger crowd here, as many of the older people can complain that they're not given a chance either due to their age, gray hair...whatever.
Trust me...you don't want a reputation for being a complainer.

When age matters.... - - We started playing in our mid twenties and have always had chemistry test rather than an age test. Now that we are in the more "experienced" group of swingers we still use the same chemistry test. We have also noticed that, with a few exceptions, most people we meet at house parties are pretty much the same. Of course the "exceptional" people usually do us the courtesy of laying their biases out on the table right up front.
