Search abilities for international swingers. - Just a suggestion. - One of the things that we have noticed is that most swing sites do not have anything set up for swingers in other countries. If a site can be set up for each state in the US then why not for each country on each continent? There are many couples who travel to various locations around the world for vacations and it would be nice to know something of the local swinging scene. By broadening this web site to include international customers would that not also increase the profitability of the site? More customers means more cash flow. Several apps like that HAVE been developed. One was actually offered to members of another swing site we're on. It failed miserably because people wouldn't, for various reasons, use it. We never used it personally. Some people apparently thought the potential for being outed as swingers was too great to risk using it. Another app was written by a friend of ours and it supposedly had some safeguards in it that he had designed but Apple wouldn't allow it in their app store...I guess because it's purpose was to help people swap spouses. \_(ツ)_/¯

The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - On judgments:
My wife and I were in the lifestyle for many years. She died 5 years ago of cancer and was the love of my life. It has been very hard for me as we were married for 34 years. Many of our friends were swingers because, as others have found, those not involved in the lifestyle often have negative judgmental attitudes. We made many friends.
After she died I was supported by my friends but I was no longer invited to parties. For a while that was fine because I wasn't ready. But since I've tried to renew my lifestyle activities, I've found that I am no longer welcome. Why? Because I'm a single male. Forget that my wife and I were involved in the lifestyle up in Seattle, forget the many times we hosted parties at our house, my wife's death made me a pariah to other swingers.
I really do not understand this. I'm still the same person. I'm discrete, clean, disease and drug free, I'm not pushy and no always means no. I guess I do not understand why all of a sudden I'm no longer welcome at parties i used to attend.
Yes, many people not in the lifestyle judge those of us who are. But a large number of people in the lifestyle are just as judgmental, only they pretend that they are not.
KSL swing story - - I wouldn't say that, Rob. They did a piss-poor job of bluring out "Spice" on the party ticket and had a pretty good shot of the intro page and Swingular is #4 on the sponsored links if you do a Google search for "swingers and Utah". It won't be hard to find. I'd recommend disabling the "Swingers in your area" part of the intro page for a while.
The root of it is that this story is about cheating, not swinging. All it talks about is married men cheating with their neighbors and looking for sex online all the while making helpless victims out of women. That has nothing to do with swinging, that is plain old fashioned cheating on your spouse. But the slant KSL put on it to make something out of a non-story is interesting. It gives great fuel for the gossip in the Relief Society and Priesthood meetings.
What's interesting about this also is, I read somewhere once that although less then 1% of the general population actually does swing, as much as 40% of people fantasize and talk about it with their spouse. Hypocrites.
