Not sure that would work so well: we went to Hedo 2 and were surprised by how many vanilla's there were there. Being that we were at Hedo, we were obviously not afraid of offending anyone (it is Hedo after all!), but it quickly let us know what their status was. Even still, the couples we ended up hanging out the most with were non-swingers.

Dental dam, opinions, thoughts and the like - - Been doing this north of 25 years now and have NEVER seen a dental dam used. EVER! Met all kinds of people with all levels of comfort as far as STD awareness and prevention is concerned and still no dams. I think most swingers (and the vast majority of vanilla people actually) are very good at denial. Bottom line, if you swing you are engaging in risky behavior and you, on some level, need to be aware of that fact and okay with it. What about the lifestyle didn't meet your expectations? - Preconceptions and disappointment. - For us, one of the things that surprised us was that all swingers were not extremely gifted and intuitive lovers. We kind of expected to be out of our league with a group of people who, having ostensibly had sex with a lot of people, would be extremely adept at the art of making love but with maybe a few exceptions we were very wrong. LOL
Another big shock was what terrible kissers most swingers are.
