Where are the Houston Swingers - Is anyone from the Houston area actually using this site? - So we have been on this site for a while and we have met several couples in the Salt Lake City area on here. We never can seem to get any response from Houston couples. Its almost like they dont even use the site to hook up with others. Maybe its us but something tells me the site just is not doing much in the Houston area.

courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out. Now it takes so little effort to contact potential playmates that many people often spam out large numbers of emails in a shotgun approach or do the same with friend requests. We've, sadly, gotten to the point in our swinging career where we DON'T respond to blind friend requests or emails that are obviously sent to multiple people (no mention specifically of us or our profile). We used to respond but found that at least half the time we then got no response in return so we assumed the senders got a BBD (bigger, better deal) and were no longer interested. We really don't get our panties in a wad over it. I kind of look at it like an unsolicited spam email from someone wanting to clean my carpets. I really don't feel a great need to respond even though it would be the POLITE thing to do. couples with kids - - We have 4 kids, 3 of which are under 3 years old. An 8 year old girl, 2 year old twin girls, and a one year old boy, so we totally understand the frustration that comes along with being loving parents and active swingers. To two worlds aren't always compatable. We have tried in vain to find a good sitter for all the kids, so most of the time we end up swinging when our oldest is off at a sleepover with a friend and the other babies are in bed. Today for instance, my wife and I had our girlfriend over for fun till 5:30 this morning and the kids got up an hour later!lol. So I am up with them taking care of the kids while the women sleep it off. Hard, but a small price to pay for a hot 3-some! Anyhow, as most swinging parents know....get it when you can, and if not....NO BIG DEAL. The kids needs come first. It's only sex after all. Christain Swingers? - - We just wanted to add what we wrote was our personal feelings and yes it's a open wound in our lives. If you can have peace with the two that's a great thing, the last thing we want to do is take you away from it or plant doubts.
Swinging and being In Christ just will not fit with our back ground and how we were taught. We both really wish we could let that go, but we can't as it's too ingrained. Despite the fact that we now know we were taught man twisted lies and distortions of scripture, the whole thing has left such a bad taste in our mouths that we could not even attend more "moderate" churches with out the wounds being opened.
What mostly wanted to say is this is our expeirence and we didn't mean to offend any one. It's just how we feel.

Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - Yes we agree with Dar Dorn we have met people to swim at our place, BBQ, get dinner, a movie, and just stroll around the Mall looking for deals. Some we have slept with others we have not. As we posted before, for us it\'s A FRIENDSHIP first, and if it develops into sexual play then we know that everyone will have a good time.
