who's spouse do you want to fuck - - My choice is Mrs Hottiecouple I met her/them in March or 2004 at the swingers talk awards in Iniquity Dallas tx. She is as hot in person as she is in pictures, plus she/they seem like good people who dont judge others, and I know they have a hell of a sense of humor. I received a gag gift from them at that awards (a 3" dick extention with condom), given because I attended the awards 5 days after having DOUBLE HERNIA surgery. Mr / Mrs Hottiecouple Las Vegas, you guys are a great couple! Thank you! Iron

Single dudes - - It's the way it works. Generally you swingers want the hottest of the hot, to enrich the fantasy. Taller than 6' with a huge cock is usually what you shoot for. "In the U.S. population, about 14.5 percent of all men are six feet or over...3.9 percent of adult men are 6'2" or taller" So you are shooting for less than 15% of males. Throw in the other desirable traits you want, and they are going to be massively in demand wherever they go. If they have any sort of social skills they can easily get a night of sex outside of the swinger life, so they are less likely to jump on the wife, and much more likely to cancel at the last second when something they view as more desirable pops up.

What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - The owner lives here and once lived in FL. The presence from both places is strong. It also helps to have ton of sexually repressed (religiously oppressed) people here. -D-

Newbie "outdoorsy" couple interested in the softer side. - Wish to develop a friendship with another couple in S ID, N UT -

There are couples and singles in the lifestyle, who have been in the lifestyle for a while, who also like to take things slow. Some don't want to just jump into bed, but they are aware of the many ins and outs of the lifestyle. I've been in the LS for years, but prefer to make friends, first, then decide if I want to go further if they, too, want to go further. If you want a friendship with no sexual strings attached, I suggest you look for others who feel the same. Narrowing your search down to just newbies, or suggesting that's what you're looking for, limits your options. You might consider meeting people with the precondition that you don't swap, but you may reconsider at a later date.
Thanks for your input. It is appreciated! Our thinking with looking for newbies was that we could all be nervous together and learn together. However, it's not like we know our way around these waters. All this has actually been very humbling to me (male half). I'm used to diving into things and doing well from the start. Here though.... it all feels so foreign, intimidating. Maybe it's due to my wife and I marrying right out of HS. We dated others in HS but that was so long ago with entirely different maturity levels. At any rate, your point is well taken. We welcome any advice and constructive criticism we can get. Thanks again!
What, specifically, feels intimidating? Or perhaps a better question would be what do you fear? Are you afraid that one of you will fall in love with a playmate and leave the marriage? Or that one or both of you will like swinging too much and become big ole sluts? LOL Or maybe you're afraid of contracting a horrific sexually transmitted disease and your junk will fall off? *grin* Most of us are TERRIBLY bad at risk assessment and more often than not we fear things that are statistically FAR less likely to happen than things we don't seem to fear all that much. Some people won't fly in planes even though they are FAR less likely to die in a plane crash than driving their car to Walmart. And many swingers are deathly afraid of getting AIDS even though it's really quite hard to contract compared to, say, HSV, which most adults have actually already been exposed to. Identifying why you're intimidated might be a better use of your time than trying to find a needle in a haystack. But in the end, do what you're comfortable doing. If you think finding another newbie couple is the least intimidating way to dip your toes in then, by all means, do that. Those of us who have been around the scene for a while, however, could tell you some of the drawbacks to meeting people who are newbies. Personally, we would seek out a more experienced couple, albeit one who is NOT pushy and is willing to go at your pace and is looking for friendship more than sex. The reason I say that is if things DO turn sexual, a more experienced couple is less likely to freak out or have other issues that they haven't already dealt with. Either way, good luck.

does anyone else go through periods of doubt? - as to whether this lifestyle is what they want? - You sound perfectly normal to me. Some people need a real connection with a person to make a connection, whether it be physical or otherwise. Some swingers (especially the men) can just do it with anybody, it's just something new, that's good enough. Personally, I like to have a strong physical attraction to someone before I consider sex with them. Another thing you mention, I believe is also similar to me, I'm a giver, not a receiver. I love to perform oral, men or women,(and I'm told I'm really good at it :)) but I'm not that good at receiving it (from either sex) until that person has really learned me(how I like to be touched or licked), and it may take a few times together, and sometimes either I or they don't have the patience, lol But performing it on others, especially when they're really enjoying it is a huge turn-on for me. So anyway the bottom line is...who's to say what's normal or not, don't worry about it. The lifestyle is mostly about being free to enjoy yourself and others. So, you like what you like, enjoy yourself, if others don't like it, let them move on.

What are swingers really looking for ?Are they looking for frien - Has the happen to you. - Our experiences has shown that there are a lot of people on swinger sites that don't take the time to read the ENTIRE profile before writing. No matter how clearly you try to write up your profile there will ALWAYS be people that are so intent at sending messages out they don't take the time to read. One site we goto we have all our contact info in the profile and even put in the profile 3 times that we can't respond back since we are not paid members. We have lost count of how many times people don't read this even though it's clearly marked in the profile.

There will always be those that are quick to pass judgement on others. We choose not to bother ourselves with people like that. We are no ashamed of who we are, nor are we scared of any of our friends or family finding out. As you can tell by my actions on these forums, I (Don), do not live my likes based upon what others think of me. I could give a fuck less. The people I love and live for already know, love and accept me. I say why bother wasting your time with people that suffer from delusions of being holier than thou. They can fuck off. I see it as a "need to know" situation. If our friends are indeed in the "need to know", we tell them. If we see potential in involving them, we bring them along to a party. If they have an issue and try and force their morals, we cut our losses. What's cool is now nearly all of our friends are swingers or swinger friendly. So it's really no longer an issue. Think about this. If a person... your "friend" were to say, "Swinging isn't right". Could you not just say, "What makes it wrong?" After all, you are not forcing them to do it. It maybe wrong for them. How is that wrong for you? It doesn't involve them at all. If they are so concerned with what you do in the bedroom, perhaps they are not basing the friendship on the things that really matter. They are not true friends.

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - We think the problem is that people see the equation "sex = love". IOW, if I have sex with you, I must love you. Therefore polyamory and swinging are the same. After all, if I don't love you, I won't be having sex with you. The way I see it, swinging is like a game of golf or tennis. I might play a game with you but I don't love you. Similarly, I might have sex with you but I don't love you. Poly, IMO, is basically having a relationship with that other person and sex is involved on some level. Kinda like "I'm in love with you and oh, BTW, lets make love" The way we see it, swinging is about exchanging sexual partners for recreation sex. In an orgy situation at a party, you can have sex with that person with zero words exchanged. In a poly relationship, there is a real connection going on besides just sex. Sex becomes incidental just like it is with married couples. With swinging, there is no emotional attachment. Is that a good thing? Well, it depends. We need to understand the very simple nature of things. We do this to avoid that. That is human nature. Many swingers DON'T want emotional attachments and avoid them because of the complications they cause in the first one. Are there benefits to the attachments? You bet. Is there a price to pay for that benefit? But of course. Is it worth it to you? That depends on your viewpoint. In our life as a couple, the problems poly cause BASED ON OUR OPINION (your's may vary and no right and wrong here) do not outweigh the payoff. IOW, we don't think the benefits of a poly relationship are worth the problems it creates based on our opinion. YMMV
