Adult Vacation Recomendations - We need some help what to do or where to go! - We just did one of the swingers takeover cruises and can't say enough good about the value for the money we spent... (3,800 swingers on one ship... it was the funnest week of our lives). Be cautious of the cruises that are "partial swingers" cruises (meaning, a group of swingers got together and decided to go on a vanilla cruise). You can only "play" in your tiny stateroom, there are going to be tons of kids, and all of the activities are "family friend". On a real swingers cruise, you can be completely naked as much as you want, and all of the activities and themes are *EXTREMELY* adult oriented.

Oprah show on Swingers - - Yes, after doing more research on Oprah's web site it is a re-run called "Secret Sex in the Suburbs" that aired in the late 2004. It will air again on Friday the 30th of June for those who care to see it.

Donte and bre - Hot swingers - What happened after that? Lol

STD Testing - How often are you tested? - The only thing is that the test results are pretty much only good for the day they were done. Unless someone gets tested and then stays in a vault cut off from anyone else until the test results come back there is no way to determine if they are still STI free. Even accounting for incubation periods an STI test is really only good for that MOMENT when your blood was drawn. Bottom line if you're going to swing first be okay with the real and inherent risks and second protect yourself to the extent that you feel okay with those risks. We do our homework about what diseases are out there and then act appropriately. To us it only makes sense to assume that EVERYONE has an STD (most adults are seropositive for HSV type 1 or 2 which are now almost interchangeable as to where they can and will induce a primary infection) and to protect ourselves accordingly. People that are super paranoid about sex cooties prolly shouldn't be swingers. JMO Not even going to mention how some VERY common STI's don't have a reliable test and thus aren't routinely screened for.

Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - That would be a general definition. However, sometimes the devil is in the details. With that definition, poly couples would be termed in the same group as swingers under the banner of libertine. So would soft swingers, etc, etc. We feel the definitions are kinda important because it causes awkwardness and waste of time if we don't know what we are getting into. For instance, if we talk and you are soft swingers, we now know we won't get anywhere fast because we are not into soft swinging. You, OTOH, will not have the awkward moment where we get together and at the last minute, we do something you don't like. IMO the labels help us filter out what we want from what we don't want.

Extramarital Affairs and the Lifestyle - Where do you stand? - ok Diver here goes, well at least you admit your a married cheater and not a true single although i believe your profile was a couple (my fault) so that is a plus in your behalf. but please consider this; You start talking with a couple, they agree to meet , you all get together and things seem to go very well you all end up having a great time. You get dressed and proceed to leave the room, home whatever. As you leave your wife her brother and half your neighborhood is waiting at your car for you to label you a cheater. No problem you say ok then the couple that was willing to share their time and sex with you ends up being supeaned into court for \"allienation of affection\" their kids wonder why no one talks to mommy and daddy any more,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, see its not only you that you are putting in jeapordy but all of us that dont know what is really behind the profile, and please understand we arent bashing you at all to each their own but can you see where it falls on more than just your shoulders? Now that scenario which is about as far out as it can get seems like neverland to you but what about the real swingers your putting in that position. We ourselves have played seperate at very certain times with very selected people we know and know very well and will not be put in that sort of circumstances because as we all know the wrath of a lover scorned is second to none. ok off the soapbox

Wishbones - - Is anyone else aware of this? In the Myrtle Beach, SC area people that are in the lifestyle are wearing wishbone necklaces and wishbone jewelry to distinguish themselves as people in the lifestyle. I'd like to see this phenomonon spread. The gay and lesbian communities have their symbols to distinguish themselves without having to announce to the world that they are gay/lesbian. With most people's desire for discretion within the lifestyle, an outward symbol would not only save alot of question, but could potentially save some embarrassment as well. When people ask me what mine means, I try to answer according to how the question was asked. If someone asks me pointedly what it means I tell them "Good Luck", which is true. If someone asks me about it that has that "Does that mean what I think it means?" look, I tell them it's a swinger's symbol. LOL The following quote is from the profile of the couple that started the wishbone thing in SC....."For as long as the swinging lifestyle has been around, there has not been a symbol to associate swingers with. Other alternative lifestyles have developed a symbol that represents them; the gay and lesbian community has the rainbow, the BDSM have their converted ying yang symbol; now the swingers have the wishbone. The wishbone represents many aspects of the swinging lifestyle. The closed end represents two halves coming together as one. For a swinger knows, it takes much trust and compromise to make the lifestyle work. The open end represents the open-mindedness and open sexuality of the lifestyle. And, let's face it, the entire wishbone reminds us that we live a lifestyle that many people only wish for. To the ordinary person, the wishbone is just a typical piece of jewelry. But, to those in the lifestyle, the wishbone identifies you as someone in the lifestyle." In this area, people are fairly familiar with the wishbone as a lifestyle symbol and we can immediately identify couples or singles within the lifestyle. My primary profile pic shows me wearing my wishbone necklace. I'd like to see this symbol adopted as a standard for all people within the lifestyle...Any thoughts?

LS vacation - looking for suggestions - We posted this the other day in another forum but thought it might help you out... If you ever get a chance to do the Young Swingers Week at Hedo (especially in March) do it! In March they take over the entire resort and limit the guests in age and only couples...no single dudes. One member of the couple has to be 45 or under. The people that go are amazing! We made friends all over the US and Canada and have places to stay if we are travelling. Just spent Halloween in Denver with a couple we met at YSW at Hedo. They have theme nights every night, play rooms, top shelf alcohol, good (not great) food, day time activities (including free daily scuba trips if you are certified), four or five on resort restaurants (as well as the buffet), no tipping allowed and a lot more. We like spending our days layng on the beach or partying in the nude pool where you have hundreds of fully naked people around you all the time. The resort has a mandatory nude side and a clothing optional side. The resort is designed for swingers instead of just being lifestyle friendly especially when YSW takes over. It is truly an amazing experience that we highly recommend trying at least once...and once you have been, you will go back. We can not recommend it outside of YSW weeks because we have heard there can be lurking single men.

Can bieng Mormon (LDS) and a Swinger co-exist? - - If Catholics can have pedophile priests, Muslims have sexist wife beating terrorists and Baptists racist incestious siblings, then The LDS Church can have swingers. Why not; everyone outside the LDS Church is misled about the mormons all being polygamists anyway. I don't think others' perceptions will change much if you lead a double-life. People are kinda dense that way. <-*Joke* HAHAHA... No... well ahem.. Ultimately, it only matters what you think and feel to be good for you. If you live life for others, then you will not have lived at all. Absorb your environment and mold yourself in a manner that is consistent with your belief system, morals and happiness. You know your own heart and what's right for you. We believe as long as all human parties are of consenting age and have given consent, nothing is wrong for you sexually. We'll do what the hell we want with our bodies. As I (Don) am not religious in anyway, I don't want to have anything to do with organized religion and all their hypocrisies. This is our stance. Take it for what you will. -TR- P.S. If I hurt your religious feelings.... Remember forgiveness :-)

What would you do? - what does a person do when their spouse no longer wishes to paticipate - Well. How amazing that the "couple in question" just happens to be in my home town. And my wife and I are at a serious impasse about the same subject, but in the "traditional direction" i.e. I still want it. She still doesn't. I'm... very surprised that a bunch of Swingers are so unanimous that "No trumps yes": that swinging is just something you do - but are ashamed of enough that any "no" in the group instantly defines the partner's life as well. Why isn't "yes" just as valid? In our case, we've been married for over 25 years. We've had a very-good run. Our children are grown and gone. We're financially comfortable. And we're still physically capable - as we watch our parents be physically unable to walk, hear, see, pee, or do much of anything to enjoy *anything* - the point there being that I hear the clock ticking and to me, this is THE time of life to reap one's reward for the life one has lead - before it's too late to do anything but try to keep breathing. And for me, being honest, the ONE thing that is my reward - is erotic fun. Let me be clear that what I crave is *erotic fun* - not just madly try to find someone new to fuck and never see again - but partners who want to wallow in the erotic experience of "Truth or Dare" and Lifestyle conventions and teasing and games. That's IT for me. That's why "doing it" is called "doing IT". And I've been a great husband/father/responsible citizen for over 50 years. And I feel that there isn't anything else in my life that really gives me a "reason for living". And my wife, bless her, just has never had any passion. She enjoys it when I have sex with her. When I give her a nice massage followed by 3 or 4 orgasms. But she's happy with twice a month or less. And she had no need at all for my "erotic experiences". So here we are. And over the last 10 years we've tried pretty-much every possibility: traditional fidelity, me cheating, us swinging, me swinging alone with her permission... and it always ultimately winds up that the only way she is not *miserable* is if I'm following "traditional fidelity". And the only way I'm not miserable - is if I have the freedom to pursue erotic associations. Now. If my passion were bowling, there wouldn't be a problem. If her passion were gardening or shoe shopping, there wouldn't be a problem. Everybody would just tell us to do our thing without the other - and enjoy what we *do* enjoy together. But somehow sex is THE one that we have to do *together* or not at all. So we're very very seriously trying to figure out if we'd both be happier by tearing up a marriage and going our separate ways. We can all *say* that whoever does NOT want to swing - rules the day, but imagine whatever your very-favorite thing is to do. Then imagine your spouse telling you: "I don't like to do that, so WE won't ever do that and You won't do it without me - and you won't do it alone, either - ever again". Now what?
