Thank you BENT! We agree with you 100% on the honesty and communication aspect. We have been so happy in the year we have been with our couple, but there have been some bumps and mis communications along the way. Fortunately we were able to deal with them and learn from them rather well. We realize that a Poly relationship is very complex and risky, but the rewards outweigh the risks for us. These people are kind, caring, successful people who I would love to have any of them as my neighbor. They have never tried to drag, lure, or trick, me. They have there rules of ethics, where no means no and they abide by it. At other parties I have attended I have had men keep hitting on me when I told them I was not interested, now to me that is wrong and disrespectful.
As a foot note; on a so called regular internet dating site I had over 120 men contact me and close to a half wanted a sexual relationship. So how is the 70 men a shocking figure? Question - do you talk about other swingers? - I have found that when I meet someone new for drinks or dinner etc, that a good place to start the conversation is about the site on which you met and some of your experiences there. My question is, How much, or do you talk about other members or swingers in your area. That would be a brilliant way to make a bunch of quick cash off the oldsters, promise they'd be surrounded by nubile youngsters, then shrug your shoulders when it's mostly a wrinkle-palooza of 60-something men who'd have to admit they lied their way in.
What would you do? - what does a person do when their spouse no longer wishes to paticipate - There have been a lot of valid and reasonable points made. My fiancee and I are swingers, and we enjoy seeing each other with the same sex, as well as, the opposite sex. We have sat down and discussed it at great lengths. Like Tequila stated, it is recreational, it does not define our relationship. We like to meet as a couple, and we play as a couple, never separately. That is us, and how we swing.
