Yup. Tons more bi gals than bi guys. Probably 'cause, for just bunches of reasons, it's a lot more "acceptable" for a gal to like playing with gals than it is for guys to like playing with guys. And, as much as some of us see ourselves as rejecting society's "norms" and doing what we ourselves think is right, or acceptable, we still grew up in that society, had its standards pounded into us for years, and just can't truly get completely away from all of them. Most of these are from Couples Cruise (the company who does most of the Swingers Cruises). We were on one last November and this stuff was on the TV 24x7.... Another reason we will never go on another vanilla cruise.. ever. =)
Going out on a limb... - - i have been a member for over 2 years now and i do have to be honest and i have not met anyone off of this site yet. i have tried a few times but they were not interested which is fine by me. but i do have alot of fun on this site reading posts and going into the chat room. and i figure one day i will find that right single or couple and we'll have fun. but this site is not just about finding someone to meet. i find this website fun to chat and learn about other swingers likes and dislikes. but you do have one thing going for you.....you do live in utah.....LOL. well i'm not sure what exactly your looking for but i have heard of other singles on this web site meeting with couples. but again it's up to you. well good luck with this site.
Fun bar to meet people at in slc - - If you're just dropping in to pick-up a woman (or vice versa) to bang and have a few laughs with over the next few months Club 90 is hard to beat. It's not necessarily a swingers club and I wouldn't expect to meet any without some pre-planning.
Basically Club 90 is filled with lots of divorced men and women looking to replace the old schmuck with a new schmuck.
Again not a swingers specific crowed, but if you want to meet a lot of single and fun people Liquid Joe's on Saturday night can be a blast, especially if their house band The Spazmatics (or Metal Gods, same group, just different music) are playing. The Crowd at Liquid Joe's probably averages 10 to 15 years younger than Club 90.
I have seen folks from the LS community at both places. But it's not what most are there for and you'll probably just be knowledged with a nod if they recognize you... anyhoo... hope the helps.
Psychology Research Results - This is a follow up to my earlier post. This is what I found because some showed interest. - I would like to thank everyone who did the research survey for me. I hypothesized that non swingers would view us as more capable of deviant behavior like using drugs and alcohol in large amounts. I was correct. I hypothesized that swingers were more likely to use positive methods to handle relationship conflicts and I was also correct. I also hypothesized that swingers would have high openness to new things and high extroversion. We did find that swingers were more open to new experience but there wasn't enough on the other. Something we found interesting was that non swingers used more aggressive methods to solve relationship conflicts and they had high sexual depression. My teacher is talking about possibly working on this to get it published. I am beyond happy that I can show us in a better and more recent light. Thank you all for your help. We are also super picky and refuse to jump into an immediate sexually relationship with someone we haven’t truly meet. That may be some of the cause of this issue as well.
New members - Any new members find it hard to meet people on here. - Yes, the lifestyle, like high school, church, and many other things in life that revolve around people in groups large and small, is cliquey. Luckily, many swingers are always on the lookout for fresh meat (that's an impolite way to say people they haven't already fucked) so if you don't mind doing a little homework...and slogging thru a whole BUNCH of profiles, some of which could even be fake...or at least disingenuous, you will eventually find plenty of really awesome people to hang out with and maybe even, if you're lucky, have a little sexy time as well.
