That, my friends, is the day to show how much you appreciate what those people do. But what of today? What about Memorial Day? Well, as an honorably discharged Veteran, and a military brat...I'm very glad you all feel so proud, and I'd trade nothing for the privilege of serving this country as I did. But Memorial Day's not for me. In spite of anything I may have done for this country - regardless of whatever sacrifice I may have made...I did not pay the price that Memorial Day is intended to honor. Polyamory - Please share your thoughts.... - My wife and I have been poly for almost 4 years now. We've learned that poly is a REALLY broad topic, and there are as many ways to "do" poly as there are grains of sand on the beach. We've met some awesome people. We've met some folks whose relationships resemble train wrecks. It's not right for everyone, but it's a viable option for certain people. My perception is that there isn't always a big difference between poly and swinging. I've met swingers that talk bad about poly but REQUIRE some sort of commonality and friendship before sex, and I've found poly people that badmouth swingers but use "poly" as an excuse to fuck anyone they want to. I Don't Care if You LIKE Me... Let's F**K! (???) - - We are not a "friends first" couple but the attraction has to be there personality-wise too. We totally agree about friendships in the lifestyle.
