Finding Connections - Do the majority of swingers wait to be approached? - For context, I'm the male of the couple and have been on a single male profile for most of my time on this site. I don't think I've ever actually met anyone for the first time from this website. I send out the occasional email, and I get approached every once in a while, but nothing ever happens. For me, this was a place to stay connected with the people that I met in person, at parties and events and things like that. It has been a much more effective tool for that than for meeting people.
But like I said, I was a single male profile for a very long time. Now that we're on an account together, we might have more luck meeting other couples on here. We'll have to wait and see.
As for being approached... it varies. If it's someone I'm not interested in, I do usually try to reply and let them know that it's not going to work for whatever reason. I don't do that as often for single males, because I've had some bad experiences with them harassing me afterwards, but for couples I personally try to reply. Not everybody does, and I imagine that for some people who get lots of requests it would become time-consuming to reply to everyone.
Our Family knows... Now what, any advice? - - Recently our family confronted us about swinging. All our family meaning both sets of parents, and siblings plus spouse confronted us. We have been to the meet and greets too and we don't go very often and have not been to one in ages. Maybe twice a year we hit one but when we do go we pretty much introduce ourselves to everybody and if we missed someone we didn't mean to. You do have to be proactive to be successful in meeting people or at least reactive in a positive fashion when someone interesting approaches you. We have been to Habits and ended up leaving with someone, but we had already had a bit of friendly back and forth somehow with the people we left with or it was someone we met previously and had at least chatted a bit. We think we have only been there maybe five times altogether. Well, maybe Mr. Delicious will put on a collared shirt just in case we head that way but for now we are thinking maybe the Green Pig sounds fun. [/quote]

Sounds dandy. For a limited time Mr. Delicious is sporting a now two week old full beard to contrast his shaved head. Part of a guy thing going on with some of his friends. Getting his Viking on which like his Norse god last name came to him through his family's Dublin roots going back to Norway before attacking or we mean landing in Ireland and becoming truly Irish. Mrs. Delicious is tall and sexy and carries her self like the strong willed woman she is so we should not be hard to spot. What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - We are not sure why Utah has more fun cpls who do not hide the fact they are into the lifestyle. Here in NC there are some great cpls too, but mabey we are just shy.
So we may have to head out west for our next vacation too.
Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Attraction is just that... attraction. Age is just one of many factors that has the ability to blow my skirt up :) I think society gets a little hung up on it. I was out and about recently with a much younger guy and the looks I got ranged from amused to downright pissed off. I was actually a bit shocked that people even cared.
My issue with seeing much younger men is that their range of experience is limited. Now I'm not just talking sexually, but life experiences. So when you crawl out from under the sheets, what do you have to talk about? That is an issue. I enjoy conversation, debate and people who actually 'get it', yanno? In bed.. well they are typically sexual dynamos..woo hoo!
Older men...well they have their issues too. I find that a few have had difficulty with relationship/play/dating/romance stuff. Their heads are stuck in good girl/bad girl issues and so I either get treated like a total slut/whore or a princess. It's strange. Skill level here can be amazing and while they typically don't have the dynamo factor, they have stamina and MAD skills... woo hoo!
Women are great at any age. I find I always have something to talk about with them. Sexually speaking... well, women speak a very similar language and most are sexually intuitive. Even those that have limited bi experience... woo hoo!

Vegas clubs - Which are the best? - If you are looking for a swingers club, check out Whispers. If you desire single guys, don't go there since they are not allowed. Also, their naked pool parties on Saturday and Sunday afternoons are really fun. We've heard a lot of good things about Playhouselv, but have not been there yet.
