First time stories, wanna share? - - Our first experience wasn't so great. There was mis-communcation, and it was fairly awkward. Actually, when my wife and I left the hotel in the morning, we decided swinging wasn't for us. A few days later we decided not to let one experience be the final judgment. We joined Swingular and started talking to a couple that contacted us. My wife and I were a bit worried by their much higher experience level, but than we decided maybe that would be better. We were right. They were nice and respectful and did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and we ended up having a really fun night with them. I think being with experienced swingers allowed us to just be ourselves and only have to concentrate on our own boundaries. If we had been with another newer couple, we'd all have to worry about going to far. We had a good enough night that we have kept in contact with them and continued to slowly check out the lifestyle. We're still Soft Swap, and full swing couples have been really gracious to us, letting us join them and get a better idea of the lifestyle, and letting us get our feet wet, before diving in to the deep end. :) We've had no bad experiences, but some could have been better if we had communicated on our end better. We're still learning how to do that. Overall, these early experiences have been a lot of fun, and we're finding that easing into the lifestyle isn't as rocky as we feared. How to find other swingers - - If we're in a crowd of people and we want to find others, we wear our shirts that say "We love the lifestyle". Could we use Swingular or another app to include everyone? Sure - But, we specifically wanted to hold this in Kik, so that is what we have done and will continue to admin. I think there are several folks who have set up other groups via Swingular or other apps because of this thread, and I encourage you to hit them up if you'd like to join one of those that accommodates more than 50 users. 2 - We started this thread so that "soft" swingers who often feel pressured in the larger events or groups would have a space where they felt expectations were already clear, but, of course, there are various levels of what many of us consider "Soft." Daybreak - Is the Daybreak area a hot spot for people in the LS? - There are a good number of swingers in both Herriman and SoJo (Daybreak) but no it's not even close to the picture you paint.
