Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Well.... If you think you want to go to Utah to meet these sexy people, we suggest a visit NOT a permanent relocation.
We lived in Florida for 10 years and then moved our family to Utah for 5 years. Its hard to describe how difficult it is to live a "normal" life in Utah because the Mormons control so much of the total "consciousness" in the state. Especially if your wife and kids are Catholic.
Utah is beautiful and the people are nice. However you almost have to go "underground" in order to have real fun and enjoy things that elsewhere are commonplace. The government, liquor laws, and the social interactions are heavily controlled by the Moron church. The mainstream populace, as well as the non-mormon citizens, are heavily influenced by the Church and because its everywhere... it seems normal. Its hard to see what I'm talking about until you get out of there and look back.
Utah is a great place to visit, a great place to ski and play, but its definitely not "The Place" for free-thinking swingers types.
Disclaimer: I grew up LDS in Utah. Graduated from high school and a major University in Utah before moving out of state. Most of my family is still there. Growing up in Zion everything seems normal until you live elsewhere and move back.... then you realize how the Mormon church controls almost all aspects of life there.
We return to go skiing and visiting family multiple times each year. Its a great place to be from.
Now if you live in Utah, there is no need to get all pissed off and write a diatribe about how much you love your state. I love Utah too. I just hate the heavy-handedness and the hypocrisy of the faithful. There is also no need to try to explain how you get along just fine in the Beehive state... I'm sure you do.
Unless you grew up as a Utah Mormon, moved away for an extended time (no, a mission, or a cruise to Mexico, doesn't count), and then moved back to experience the contrast, you don't have a real understanding what I'm talking about.

FWB Anyone...??? - Seeking FWB - Couple to Date - ^ We hear you. A long time ago we reached out to the OP to just chat, not even sure we were interested beyond that. We were promptly informed were not a match. LOL. We just appreciate that the OP responded. We also think it’s great that they know what they want. Nothing wrong there. The challenge is this is a LS site...they are not “Swingers.” They state this in their profile. They seem to want an exclusive relationship with another couple. Like a quad in polyamory. They seem to want to separately date the other spouse and have this 4 way relationship. I’m sure they will find it but it will be WAY harder than finding 2 unicorns to come play with you at the same time. What they seem to want isn’t what most of us think of as a FWB...it’s more of a poly thing. We truly wish them the best of luck, but it’s going to be tough for them. Vegas: Swingers circle or couples oasis? - Which do I prefer - Never been to swinger circle. We were told about couples oasis when we lived in Vegas by other locals. WD have been to the green door , red rooster and couples oasis. And out of all three couples oasis was the one I liked the best. It is the only one that does not allow single guys. Nothing against them but in that kind of setting they tend to give off that creepy feeling. Anyways it kinda like the manor there is a cover and it would is BYOB. There's a bar with a dance floor. Pool tables with a snack area. A group play area and some private play areas also a outdoor pool. During the summer I think they have pool parties on Sunday. Out of the 3 it is the only one I would go back to.
