Adult Vacation Recomendations - We need some help what to do or where to go! - We just did one of the swingers takeover cruises and can't say enough good about the value for the money we spent... (3,800 swingers on one ship... it was the funnest week of our lives).
Be cautious of the cruises that are "partial swingers" cruises (meaning, a group of swingers got together and decided to go on a vanilla cruise). You can only "play" in your tiny stateroom, there are going to be tons of kids, and all of the activities are "family friend". On a real swingers cruise, you can be completely naked as much as you want, and all of the activities and themes are *EXTREMELY* adult oriented.
KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Just watched the story on the news and was EXTREMELY relieved it wasn't aired on a Get Gephardt segment. LOL Yeah, so the lady in question said she decided to swing with her husband to save her marriage after she gained a lot of weight (guess swinging is easier than a diet or taking up jogging) and that they went to "orgies" all over Utah...naming several cities and "even Bountiful" (the story showed the Bountiful temple a few times during the piece- she said being a Mormon she felt very uncomfortable swinging in a home within view of the temple). She also claimed that she was at a house party and the hosts young kids walked in. She says she started drinking because going to parties she felt like she was in the 5th grade where you wouldn't be chosen for a team...her husband was chosen to play but she wasn't. She has to go to rehab for her drinking. Eventually she wanted to quit but her husband supposedly refused and started going out solo and gave her gonorrhea. They are now divorced. Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. Just watched a tom and bunny YouTube video about stereotypical swinger signs on my way into work today and seen this thread. But the items you and others described are thingd that people/websites came up with as a way to make it easier to find other swinger couples in public. Though most of these are unsubstantiated, it's still a fun topic nonetheless. And kik, though I'm not an expert for we're still quite new as well, I believe is a chat service (like messenger). But I too, would like some more info on kik.
Now, a question I have is, why don't people ever utilize the Swingular chat? Me and Lady Fire try and get to talk with people to become more comfortable/familiar with the life style but there's literally never been a single person in the chat room in the few months we've been on here (at the time we're logged in of course).

Why do people.... - Booty calls - Actually, I know my first post sounded like it was ok, and a good way to find potential opportunities, but really it does seem kind of strange to be posting everyday...understand it is annoying to read the same booty calls over and over. My thought is, their post(s) really only affects them, and has no real impact on us. We have some good friends that we enjoy time with. Occasionally we like to meet new people mostly just to share some time and create new friendships, but it is not the end of the world not to meet new couples.
We probably don't upgrade and change up our profile like many do, but our advertising approach is more like the kids putting up a sign at their lemonade stand, rather than the Lexus commercials; mostly because we are very comfortable with our life as it is. If we were making a living off of our profile we would probably prune it, and hire someone to make me (Mr. Karma)look good. Maybe even bring in a PR firm to find some power words so everyone would wet themselves reading our profile, but eh...love ya' all. Isn't it great that we are all different? Can you imagine with all the vast diversity and differences in this world, if it was only swingers that were all exactly alike? Yuk!
Where to go, what to do. - Non club activities - For our first activity we are going to try to diversify and do two activities on two different days.

It is from 6:00pm to 9:30pm and costs $10 per person at the door. This should still leave you available to get to the mansion party that same night if you were going to that.
If you want to be easily identifiable to other swingers (this isn't an event is open to any one) please tie a purple ribbon around your wrist. If you don't want to be bothered with that we will have our ribbons on and I will be wearing an obvious feather in my hat until the performance starts and I will put it back on after it is over.
For the second event I'm looking into brunch on Sunday so I will keep you posted on that.
Habits tonight?? - We would love to dance - Bleh... the loud music makes it impossible to meet and talk to people... I will never understand the allure of the club scene. And even worse if you don't know if they're actually swingers or not.
