I have never started a discussion form topic before (btw-this is Dana not Terry) so please be forgiving of me. Anyways, I have a question. I was looking for groups on this site that are into the BD/SM L.S.
I know there are other websites that cover this interest, however I know of many swingers who are also into the "darker delights" such as myself. But I have found none on this site (as far as I know) that cover this subject/interest. So is there any groups that cover this topic that I can join, or if not, would anybody be interested in starting such a group on this site?I know this subject can be a little more touchy than other LS related issues. I don't think lifestyle people are more or less. I think it's normal number are and are not regardless of the lifestyle question.
We have meet several swingers that continue to have issues with this. They feel that their beliefs in god don't allow for swinging. So at times they have major guilt issues with the lifestyle or even just being bisexual.
I personally don't get into that line of thinking because I believe that if everyone is in agreement and no one is getting hurt or lied to; then there is no "sin" with exploring the lifestyle.

Ultimately I think it's unnecessary for couples who don't want to play with singles (most often it's just single guys, a double standard perhaps?) to diss singles by saying they aren't swingers. And it's also probably not necessary for a few singles to complain that they aren't given an equal place at the table when they indeed do not come prepared to risk the same that couples must risk. Bottom line. Swing how you want to swing and don't swing how you don't want to swing. Why did you join Swingular? - Wondering what brings people here - lol..everyone here started out as "We joined....." well, I joined because I am looking to enrichen my life with new friends, new people, and have fun in the meantime. There are so many people out there who are stuffy individuals; swingers just let loose and whatever happens, happens! Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - The term "swinger" is a label, plain and simple.
I like to think that sexuality is about the moment, not some label.
These days I tend to get pissy when someone refers to me as a "swinger". Its lumping me together with people that are not at all like me.
