Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - Ummm 75 couples times 2 = 150 people and while thats not alot for a hotel party it still falls within the accurate statement of aproximately 200
I was there so this is how I saw the situatiuon;
now I am not saying that the cuprits of this incident were the swingers attending the party but come on, your hosts should have made sure that no part of your party was visible to outside guests and some better discression could have been used by SOME of the party goers. Yes there was some flashing and gyrating here and there. And while I love a good party I am also a dad and wouldnt want my kids seeing that stuff either. Do any of you realize that if even one arrest was made swingers everywhere would look bad?. On the other hand the parents should have exercised better control over the children in their charge and the hotel should have either a refused the party or not booked the soccor team (the situation there to me was like having booked a klan rally and a black panthers reunion. not a good idea).
PS according to a reporter friend of mine WKMG has procured from the hotel a copy of the security tapes of the events that went on in the ballroom and around the hotel that night with the possiblity of doing a story on the night as part of an expose (i know its allready been done to death) on swinging in central florida.

Florida Nude Beaches - Any on the west coast? - We are friends of the owners of Edun Lake and they do have a website and you need to let them know you are coming to get the gate code to get in. It is not a swingers resort but so many guests are in the lifestyle, the owners are not. If you rent a boat, you can go to the north end of Captiva Island. Not sure of the legalities, but it is "owned" by the Sanibel Naturists and known locally as a nude beach but not officially recognized as one.

Us too! We love friends! The more the merrier . . . IF we play . . . That is a bonus. As to collecting friends in our friends list . . . Not so much. We frequently clean out our friends list when it becomes clear we will never meet. If the practice of looking for people in the LS to meet and be friends with is a bad thing . . . Color us guilty! Wishbones - - Is anyone else aware of this? In the Myrtle Beach, SC area people that are in the lifestyle are wearing wishbone necklaces and wishbone jewelry to distinguish themselves as people in the lifestyle. I'd like to see this phenomonon spread. The gay and lesbian communities have their symbols to distinguish themselves without having to announce to the world that they are gay/lesbian.
With most people's desire for discretion within the lifestyle, an outward symbol would not only save alot of question, but could potentially save some embarrassment as well. When people ask me what mine means, I try to answer according to how the question was asked. If someone asks me pointedly what it means I tell them "Good Luck", which is true. If someone asks me about it that has that "Does that mean what I think it means?" look, I tell them it's a swinger's symbol. LOL
