Recons 6th annual backyard bash! - - Just wanted to say a huge "thanks" to Recon for throwing another Phenomenal backyard party! Everything from The beds in the orchard, the tent, the lighting, the guests, the nudity, the food, the Taco Vendor from the corner of Sears on state...it was perfect! This was the best swingers party we have ever been to! We can't remember much after the second round of margarita's, but the hot, hot, hot people doing the "wiggle" on bed 3 in the orchard is etched in my mind ;) hahahaha! Do you mix your vanilla and lifestyle friends? - - Good question! Really haven't had this come up much, yet, quite like that, anyway, being relatively new to the lifestyle. But...have already encountered the Ohhh...we know some of the same people sort of thing" Even in the big city..it is amazing how often that happens. For me..I can understand why this would make some swingers nervous...never really knowing what you might say to one of their friends about "your " new friend.
When I have learned about common connections such as this....my choice has been to not mention them again...and ESPECIALLY not to the ones that know both of us. I learned a long time ago, that I need to be honest....BUT....I DON'T have to tell everything I know...LOL

See life issues please help - Wife needs help understansing - I wanted to comment on a specific thing the OP said; many swingers are not swingers because they were "bored". Imagine a couple that vacations every year to the south of France and have a wonderful time, but one year decide to try Puerto Rico. Did they do something new because they were bored with their usual spot? No, they were looking for an adventure, to meet new people, to experience something different. Most swingers, the ones that are in a good place, are happy in their lives and also want to explore and expand their horizons. If you are afraid your spouse is "bored" with you then everything in the swinger lifestyle is going to appear more exciting and this is a recipe for jealousy and resentment. Remember that NRE is electrifying and exciting but ORE is just as valuable, if not more; it gives us real joy and comfort and that is sexy too.
