With that definition, poly couples would be termed in the same group as swingers under the banner of libertine. Extramarital Affairs and the Lifestyle - Where do you stand? - we find it rather interesting that man or woman feels the desire to be with others and would risk losing their family for extramarital sex . when all you have to do if realize that that open communication with your spouse is all you need . we do not play alone and that due to the fact we are spicing up our sex life, not mine or hers we do it together because it brings us closer in alot of ways. if the day comes when one or both of us are no longer turned on by seeing the other with someone else , or playing just doesnt feel right , we will stop! lets face it people will always be attracted to others no matter how perfect your marrige seems so why not explore that together and when you look back on it years from now youll be able to say man we had alot of fun and wouldnt change a thing .

Have you ever.... - - Have we ever? Nope. For the simple reason that we think it's a little bit unfair. Especially when we're somewhere where alcohol is being consumed and there is a chance that the person we're picking up isn't making a fully sober, informed decision. Yes, I know many will say that we're all adults and adults can make their own choices sober or not. But Ms. Evil and I consciously and soberly made the decision to explore the lifestyle, together. Why doesn't every other person deserve the chance to do that as well? Now if we were to meet someone, identify ourselves as swingers, and then that person or persons goes home and thinks about it and THEN contacts us to tell us they are interested in knowing or doing more then hell yes, game on! This lifestyle is NOT for everyone. The VAST majority of people simply cannot handle it. If someone wants to explore it alone or especially with their significant other then they deserve to do it on their own terms without undue influence by other people (and by booze or drugs). We know that's not the popular opinion by the "all is fair in love and war" crowd but it's how we feel. Just our opinion.
Signals, Identifying 'markers' - Do scarves, jewelry, or other items worn a certain way ID you as part of the lifestyle? - We have never heard of the gold ring but the pendant that is growing in popularity in Utah seems like a nice way to distinguish swingers in crowd. Being both straight, we prefer to be upfront and just say it like it is so there are no surprises. We have brought the pendant up in a few groups we belong to or run here in Florida and hope we can follow Utah and make this the universal way to find each other in a crowd.

So far our swinging experience has been with 4 people, one long term friend who before and after we continued to meet for drinking, meals, bowling, cinema, fire\'s in the desert and just hanging out (no sex). The next we meet a couple of times for drinks and dinner before getting sexual and haven\'t had chance to re-meet yet. Following that it was definatly a one time only (not our intention, but we were lied too) and the verdict is still out on the 4th. Of course we we like #2 & #4 to become friends to hangout with benifits when they happen, but we\'ll have to wait and see.
Does anyone else wonder about this stuff?
