Political Forum - POLL: Should we bring it into the rotation? - I think its quite cool that a rather large group of people find relatively common interests about sexual openness, sexual play, sexual fantasy etc... it's really cool that we share such an uncommon attitude about sex and yet we have such diverse opinions about Politics (and Religion) etc. Fascinating. sexy cities - favorite travel destinations - San Diego! Many LS venues, great nightlife, live music almost nightly at the Casbah and the San Diego Music Box, always a festival close by and Tijuana's gentlemen's clubs are world class. Hong Kong went from being a shady brothel decades ago to a hot nightclub / strip joint hybrid that welcomes everyone and popular with young Americans of both genders, we seen many young couples enjoying themselves with a pretty girl. Safe, clean, fair, cheapppp and fun as heck. Half of the girls who work there are Americans. You can just watch, get something to eat/drink or just be a part of the action. Tijuana also has world class restaurants such as Caesar's, all reasonably priced. We also have San Onofre naturist beach. There is Thad's, a swingers club still operating, plagued by single males but they are easily outnumbered and set asideon Saturday nights by the ton of couples who come in. Also a hot couples only play area always busy on Saturday nights. Private rooms too. Some other LS venues advertise on KAS. Never boring, always sexy down here! No need to go to Vegas or Palm Springs. Oh, we have awesome casinos too like Barona and Viejas.

'Neighbors with Benefits' to air on A&E - Excited to watch? - Looking at the preview, I have a problem with the show before even seeing it. It looks like the people on it are all going to be 20 or 30 something, and pretty darned physically attractive. Great TV marketing strategy, I suppose. Get people to tune in to see great looking people who engage in "forbidden" sex. Titillate the viewing populace. But NOT anything even close to a representation of the people in the lifestyle. Sure there are people as young as in their twenties in it. I was in bed with one a few weeks ago (yes, miracles do happen, folks. Even with old codgers like me [em]Emo_100[/em] ). But not only is the lifestyle not made up entirely of really hot looking people in their 20s and 30s, they aren't even a really large chunk of it. The largest single age group, based on what I've seen at events and parties, as well as on the site, are in their 40s. And far from all being fit, slim, and very sexy in a traditional sense, they are mostly average. In other words, the majority of us are normal people. And until the society as a whole starts seeing swingers as just normal folks, swinging isn't ever going to be well accepted. I also have a suspicion that the show is going to present swinging as a bunch of people getting together then all pairing off randomly with whoever. In other words, the view of swinging that vanilla society already seems to have. I really doubt that this show is going to do anything good for the lifestyle, mainly because I expect it to present a warped view of the reality of swinging. ~ Terry.

Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. And, of course, they lie...to their Bish or whoever when asked if they're chaste and stuff. I'm fairly certain most religions pretty much frown on wife swapping and most other forms of sexual relations with someone other than your God approved spouse. So I think the bottom line for most people who espouse a religion would be denial or simply willful disregard of THAT particular religious doctrine. However, as FORMER Mormons (well raised that way, anyway) we do know that there is sort of a loophole that many may not be aware of so you can basically fuck other peeps (and do other naughty shit...short of murder) and still go to heaven...eventually. Now the way I interpret that "scripture" I'm pretty much covered (even though I'm an atheist) and will still get to go to heaven and stuff if on the VERY slim chance I'm wrong and it isn't all bullshit. ;-)
