I don't think lifestyle people are more or less. I think it's normal number are and are not regardless of the lifestyle question.
We have meet several swingers that continue to have issues with this. They feel that their beliefs in god don't allow for swinging. So at times they have major guilt issues with the lifestyle or even just being bisexual.
I personally don't get into that line of thinking because I believe that if everyone is in agreement and no one is getting hurt or lied to; then there is no "sin" with exploring the lifestyle.
New members - Any new members find it hard to meet people on here. - Yes, the lifestyle, like high school, church, and many other things in life that revolve around people in groups large and small, is cliquey. Luckily, many swingers are always on the lookout for fresh meat (that's an impolite way to say people they haven't already fucked) so if you don't mind doing a little homework...and slogging thru a whole BUNCH of profiles, some of which could even be fake...or at least disingenuous, you will eventually find plenty of really awesome people to hang out with and maybe even, if you're lucky, have a little sexy time as well. thoughts on Pictures - - Just our 2 cents on the subject.......Some people have to protect themselves for reason of job, family, community and what have you. Here we have no problem with a genital shot AS LONG as they have facial or g-rated full pics to back up what they show. We have g-rated that we are glad to send to others once we get to know them a bit and b/4 we would meet. We have seen on other sites, people using other peoples pictures and have seen some pictures that were removed from a certain site and openly posted on the internet. We are sure that most people do not want their pastor, mayor or next door neighbor to receive a picture of them shouting to the world that they are swingers!
Again, just our 2 cents on the subject.

Taking one for the team - Put a picture of your male half in your profile! - First of all, NOBODY should fuck someone they don't want to fuck. Having said that, though, we've found that "taking one for the team" is usually somewhat relative. It seems to quite often be the case that if you actually LOOK hard enough for attractive qualities in other people you are apt to find them. At least one or two qualities! LOL
We've almost never encountered another couple where one of us was attracted to one of them and their partner was completely unattractive. I guess if someone is reasonably attractive they're pretty unlikely to end up with someone who isn't attractive at all.
But we've also found (and yes, we're guilty of this sometimes as well) that many people sort of get in their own way, so to speak, when it comes to looking for people to play with and, often, almost look for reasons NOT to play and, in effect, end up talking themselves out of playing.
When we first started in the lifestyle it was FAR more labor-intensive (no internet swingsites) to look for other couples and there were far fewer swingers as well so if you were extremely picky you pretty much didn't ever actually end up playing. By the time most people jumped through all the hoops you had to jump thru to find other couples most people were pretty predisposed to playing, unless they were really turned off for some reason.
Now, it seems like there are just so many options, literally right at our fingertips, that perhaps it's just a little too easy to keep swiping left...always looking for the bigger, better deal. Again, don't fuck someone you really don't want to fuck but also, maybe, consider digging just a little deeper and see if you can't find something compelling about a person that could lead to a really great time in bed. Scuba in Ventura California - Scuba Divers like it wet and deep. - I am a scuba diver spending my birthday diving Anacapa and Santa Rosa off California. I will be there the night of April 10th and leaving Sunday morning the 13th. While there ,I have 7 dives planned during the day but have my evenings free and would love to to make Birthday plans with some of the Ventura Harbor area Swingers.

I've been judging in car shows for nearly 30 years - everything from concours national events to local cruise ins - and I've also been a participant for more years than that.
It's never ceased to amaze me what total idiots some organizations can come up with to judge at the shows they put on.
