New to this all - - Single guys don't exactly have an easy time of it in the swinging world. It's made up mostly of couples with the occasional Unicorn (single female), and many couples have a "we're trading, but you're not providing the female part of the trade" attitude, which goes all the way back to when what is now called swinging was called wife swapping. And the vast majority of couples who are interested in inviting a single person to play with them are looking for a female, not a male. There just aren't very many people looking for a single male, and there are tons of single guys looking to be involved. So the numbers are against you. Besides that, it's hard for a single male to meet people. They're allowed to attend only a very, very few parties and/or events unless they have a female with them. Even the male half of a known swinging couple often isn't welcome if the female half isn't with him. He may be in a couple, but without the woman he's just another single guy. Your best chance at someone being interested in you is online at a site like this. But, again, there are gazillions more single males than there are people looking for them, so the competition is pretty tough. To be a "winner", you usually need to be relatively young, pretty good looking, and fairly fit. Unlike in the outside world, what the guy looks like is more important than what the girl looks like. So if you want to generate any interest, you have to post pics. And while nudes are a good idea if you have the body for it, straight dick pics are not, unless it's 10 inches long or something. Children - - am a momma bear when it comes to my kids. They know am a nudist but they DO NOT know my lifestyle. The reason why they don't know about it is because I think in their teen age years they have a lot to worry about and also they are discovering the world outside the home. I give them a lot of advise and talk a lot to them to the point that they know what is swinging but again they do not know that we are swingers. My 14yr old daughter knows that am bi because a lot of her friends are bi and she was very confused as to the whole thing. Not even our closes swing friends know my kids. We each talk about our kids and brag about them. I have met theirs and this summer we are planning to have the families join but this is ONLY because we have been friends for a while and we talk and know a lot about each other even private problems that only the closes family members would know. I know how they are with their kids and they know about how we are with ours, so I am comfortable with them meeting them. I chatted with a cpl for a long time and we even played a few times. We got comfortable with each other and in one conversation the topic about the kids came up... We talked and bragged about the kids. After a few weeks I was asked if I wanted to see their kids on cam. I said ok just because we had played and talked a lot. I saw their kids and everything seemed normal. It turned out after a while the mother told me her daughter was bi and she loves to watch her daughter have "fun" with her friends. She sits back, plays with herself and tells her daughter what to do, another thing that was disturbing to me is that this person is a high school math teacher. MY KIDS ARE OFF LIMITS... even when am chatting, emailling or just checking the site my laptop is posittioned in a way that no one can see the screen except who ever is in front of it. I also know that newborns till about 4 or 5 depending on the child development is ok to do as you please, but I remember things when I was 5 years old, things that my mom says but you where so small. To my opinion anything older than that should not be exposed to anything. There are so many sick minds out there. YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY ARE THINKING.

Professionals - - That's just it Chibones: no we are NOT all looking for the same thing out of the lifestyle. People are as diverse as the imagination...and then some. And we have learned that in the lifestyle there are a myriad of things people want and don't want. No two couples are exactly the same and many are polar opposites. Some people do not want to limit the possibilities or their options. But MANY do want to limit them. Some...like yourselves...say almost nothing of substance about yourselves in their profiles. Others write auto-biographies. Some are looking for that one special couple or single. Some are looking to have sex with everything they get within arm's reach of. Some only want dark-haired ladies with large breasts. Others only want men over 50 years old and over 6' tall. Geographical and regional cultural differences play a strong role in how people craft profiles and conduct themselves in the lifestyle. In our town, you could not be a "professional" and be open about being a swinger. You would be harassed and heavily discriminated against in business. Preachers would tell their congregations not to patronize your business from the pulpit on Sunday mornings, and most of your customers would be church-goers who do what their pastors tell them. Your kids would be tormented in school. Interestingly, if you were an entertainer or a construction worker or truck driver, nobody would care. Your life would go on without incident. This isn't Safety Harbor, FL! (we used to live in St. Pete) The big fight right now in town is over the new Hilton hotel and whether or not they should be allowed to offer PPV adult movies in the hotel rooms. Also, we have a very large element of...how show we say...under-achieving whites...in the lifestyle in this region of the country. I would be willing to wager a month's pension check that you would not associate with them. By comparison, when we look at FL swinger profiles and talk to our FL swinger friends about it, we get the distinct impression that swinging is more of a middle class and upper class past-time down there. So, in a desire to both clue the right people in and not offend the rest, around here white collar couples tend to use the code-phrase, "We are a _________ professional couple who like to..." It's sort of a polite way of saying "No illiterate toothless hillbillies strung out on methamphetamines who cannot behave in public, please!" So, if "professional couple" offends your sensibilities, you should try walking in OUR shoes for awhile before judging us based on a phrase. Around here, a lawyer who is outed as a swinger would be in serious jeopardy of losing his bar certification. An elected official would be toast. A political appointee would be fired immediately. A real estate agent would see their business shrivel to nothing in weeks. A doctor would lose 3/4 of his patients within a month. And the funniest/saddest thing about it all is that we have one of the highest concentrations of swingers per capita in the US...3rd highest I believe. This is why PC thinking is so unwise. We judge others based on OUR realities and not usually on THEIRS. In a desire to encourage more "tolerance," we actually become intolerant of anything WE find the least bit offensive.
