So, not being on the same page doesn't cause issues as much as it adds to the challenges. Any way, I completely agree with you and TheFunCouple about meeting people in person, going to meet-and-greets, etc. That would be the best way to meet and get a feel for people. Two problems with that for us though: 1) We live in Podunk i.e., a long ways from Lifestyle events and 2) neither of us likes parties or any sort of large social gatherings. St. Pete FL... Anyone out there!?!?!? - - Caliente can be a bit pricy, but the facilities are nice & lots of people go there. Some smaller nudie facilities are near by there as well. The crowd, the price & the facilities at each vary. Some will give you 1-day free passes to try them out. A good percentage of swingers live at or near several of these facilities. For more casual spur-of-the-moment hooks ups, just try some of the bars in Ybor City. While you are there, also try to catch a meal at the Colombian. The food there is worth the trip if your other plans fall through. What have you been trying so far? In what ways has it not been working out for you? Tampa is a target rich environment. You probably just haven't found the right places or learned to read the local body language yet.

The Vent part II - Secrecy - Hi all, me again here with another vent. As we have turned into full blown swingers, our "Vanilla" friends are becoming an issue. We usually swing out of town for two reasons, first there are very few swingers in our area, and I'm having my doubts that the ones that are here are who they say they are, and second, (as a friend once said) we are in a small town and can't "shit in our own nest." The problem is we are very fun people to be around (not bragging,) and when we go out of town our Vanilla friends want to come with us. This leads into the problem, if we take our friends out of town with us we can't find someone to play with, or we have to "out" ourselves to them which leads to SO many other issues that I don't even want to contemplate what could happen then. (Basically all of them would not be open and understanding.) So we are planning a trip to Mesquite, for all you Northerners that's like Wendover, and some of our Vanillas want to come, but we want to "hook up" while we are there, and if we don't "hook up" we could still have alot of fun with our regular friends. So do we risk putting a wedge in our friendships by making up stories and lies, or do we give up on getting some? its like a double edged sword, (we would love to have more swinger friends, but I will refer you to above statement about lack of real swingers in our area.) In many ways I would love to just announce at the next bash that we are swingers now and they should just deal with it, but we all know that's NOT a good idea. Any thoughts or ideas?
