Curious Question - - Hi all, my hubby and I are going to be moving from DC to Reno, NV. very soon. From what Chris has told me is that there is not alot out there as far as "Big" cities that we are used too. SO... I was just curious as to why there are so many Swingers in the general Salt Lake City area. and don't get me wrong, there appear to be LOTS of exemptionally beautiful people out there, so its just a curious question for the uninitated. Go figure. Oh, Hugh Hefner is still legally married! Go HEF! What about the term poly-amorous for singles? eh, who knows. Commence the a** ripping.
Jewellery, logos, etc to identify other swingers - We would like info on websites catering to discreet items to let others "know" we are in the lifestyle - How about instead of identifying other Swingers with objects just do a little flirting with other couples when out... they bite or they don't... but definately more fun.

I just got home from there last night.. Hot but the water is great!
With the water level where it is, the big cave on the West side of Rock Creek should be accessible. Great place to hang out on the water in the shade!
As for a fall trip, I know there is a big Poker Run being held out of Antelope Point the weekend of 9/15 that we will be running in. Should be a fun time then too (then again, Powell is always fun)
Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - Oh he was married and his wife was doing the same. I didnt see anybody elsa not letting them do what they wanted to do but My gal stopped him in his tracks and I was smiling from ear to ear. I didnt even think about lending him a elbow or whatever till the next day. Thats why I put this post up. I wondered if I should have put a gap in his teeth or if I did the right thing. I second guessed my self the following day. I guess if he didnt take her NO and he moved forward he woulod be wearing a black and blue sumthing but he backed off with his tail between his leg and I couldnt help but laugh at him. Thanks for the replys. And I wont go back to that swingers club no more even if I shouldnt blame the club. I rather stick with private cpl to cpl house parties anyway.

In a place like Habits there are vanilla singles that have no clue that swingers congregate there. So there will naturally be more problem in that environment than a private party.
At a house party the only people that should be there are those that are invited by the host and hostess. Every one of the guests should have known the rules or etiquette of this lifestyle. If you had complaints, they should have been addressed last night with the hosts. Evidently the balance you were looking for was not there.
Sadly it is difficult for most singles to figure out how to talk to a swinging couple. There are no schools or training centers to teach this. As a single male, conversation at a vanilla party with a couple is much easier. Most often the men and women separate and we talk with one or the other without expectations on either side. Sometimes conversation is just conversation.
I find that making friends is generally more difficult in this lifestyle because of the sexual expectations of many. I think that you will find a number of the single men, after getting the cold shoulder from many husbands, find it easier to attempt to talk to the women because they lack the skills to talk with both. It is a mistake but it is also part of the learning process.
There is no excuse for rude behavior on the part of the single male but neither is there an excuse for the typical married male attitude. Single males are always and have always been a pariah and dam few couples want them at any party. I came into this lifestyle as a single male looking to make male friends to hang with that would help me understand the rules. I found most of the males were cold and suspicious and difficult to talk with.
I was not looking for women to play with nearly as much as I was looking for a girlfriend that was already in the lifestyle. But I am sure that as far as most were concerned all I wanted to find was their wife
