We recently joined a secret FB group for swingers with lots of super nice and sexy people. However it appears that most members, at least the active ones, are in Ogden which is bit far for us. Are there any secret FB groups for swingers for SLC?
Is that a pretty active group? I'd love to find more people in the lifestyle near me.
How do we find that group? We are in the ogden area too and would like to meet other like minded folks.
We found it by talking to people at Naughty Gras, the most recent Risqué Soirée event. I friended someone from the event on FB and she added me.
The page is secret so no one can search for it and I can't invite people I don't know.

I'd say they are "private" not "secret". So you really just need to get to know some people who are in the group and will invite you. They keep in invitation only and try to keep it to people you know and trust to avoid bad behavior (well, stupid behavior, we all are badly behaved) and to make sure at least one couple in the group can vouch for them. It's more like the kik chats. Everyone knows they exist, but to get on one, you typically need an invite. You can always start you own. Then YOU can control who is in and not in. Remember, knowing is half the battle. Yo Joe!!

You're kind of giving control of that info over to the owner of the group because they can add whoever they want, and those people then have that access. Maybe we're just overly cautious. A lot of people, when using FB for these sorts of things, use anonymous FB profiles.

Yes, it would. We are very cautious when it comes to risky behavior. As a result we educate ourselves as to the risks and develop approaches to protect ourselves. The net effect is that we tend to be forthright about our activities because it makes it difficult for anyone to use such information against us.

So when creating a fake facebook account, are you using fake pics, fake names, etc, or just limiting that account to the LS and those in it? What information are you sharing on our fake account?
We have a private Facebook page, it's only visible to the people invited to it. We use our real names and pics. Yet noone can even look the page up so it works for us. We have about 50 members all from Utah.

Interesting. Well if it is secret, and by invitation only, so only the invitees, know where and how to find the page, it could afford the participants, more anonymity and more freedom, than a swing site, where purchasing a membership is the gateway to access.

I highly recommend setting up another profile for privacy! Many of us have FB alter egos and it's helpful. Let me know if you have questions about that.

Sinful Saturday's has a secret group for those who attend our parties. It's private and so posts don't show up under your regular profile. But it will show up when you pull up your news feed so if you don't want someone looking over your shoulder at work seeing it you just have to unfollow and then your still a member and can go view it when you want. If you have friends in the group you can ask them to add you or friend request us and we will add you. But again it's for those who attend Sinful Saturday parties.
It's like the Room of Requirement. If you're searching for it you'll never find it. If you know where it is you'll never need to look.

I am currently part of 4-6 swinger private groups on FB. I agree all the newbies are from Ogden. We need more SL area people. Just remember you have to be friends with someone in the group to get an invite!
