You can get day passes. we have always chosen to stay there as you can get as happy as you want and your home when you decide to walk to your room.

Not clothing optional. The only places you can wear loathing is in your room, the dining area, and the dance floor late night. We never take any clothes. Wear what's on to and from there and stay naked the entire time there.
Any given time at least 5 couples are having sex around the pool. You will be talking to your neighbors and they may just start having sex while talking to you. Take your own Booze,breakfast and lunch provided, and they order out for you for dinner.

Maybe Sea Mountain for a day pass, but much prefer Desert Sun Resort in Palm Springs. The property is immaculate and much more to do there...3 pools, tennis, restaurant (usually closes during the week when they are not busy) two jacuzzi's and more of an accessible night life. A lot of fun during the week, water volleyball, good conversation and good people. During the week it gets a little slow, but on the weekends it generally is pretty busy. It is a nude resort primarily, but is really loosened up over the last couple of years.
If all you want is a place to go and have sex...Sea Mountain should fit the bill, but there is no comparison in terms of properties. We have done the day pass at Sea Mountain, and have stayed at Desert Sun numerous times.

Sea Mountain started as San Marcus Inn. It was originally a hippy hang out. After many fun years, it got run down, then a guy named Brian from San Diego bought it & started fixing it up. He brought a San Diego flair to the place. That's when I started going there & loved it. After Brian ran out of money & time, he sold it to Duwey, who previously had Sea Mountain in Malibu. Duwey sunk a lot of money into the place & also did a lot of advertizing. He built it up to the point where it is now packed all the time. The crowd is a little Hollywood at times, but it is always a fun & vibrant environment. Duwey puts a lot of effort into being an excellent host, even when the town politicians try to break his chops. If you can handle a highly charged sexual atmosphere with a lot of beautiful people, then this place is not to be missed. Everything from the people, to the the high quality bed linens to the hospitality, to the mineral water hot tub is high end. There are few places in the world that rival it & none that I know of in the US.
Don't forget about taking the drive north a bit to the Joshua tree area and park, lots of places for activities in the outdoors lol
If you do go to Joshua Tree, bring plenty of water. That's dessert country up there. A few gallons per person per day is considered a minimum.

Ok. So more specifically... Spent $389 per night plus $40 membership feb 1-3. There were 10 people total fri night and 14 Saturday night, most (90%) above 50 years old and high bmi. Very small place , about 3000 sq feet with only small pool and hot tub. In addition to the high expense of being there, we had to pay air fare to get there. All in all, it was the equivalent of a small house party that ended up being a big BUST!!!
well we have been to sea mountain for the last two years both times in April,weekends are packed usually 90+weather in April. we have had two great trips there.cant wait to go back.
Been to Sea Mountain a couple of time on day passes. Have stayed at Desert Sun numerous times. No comparison...hands down desert sun...it may not be as sexually charged with sex everywhere, but comparing the resort and things to do (downtown Palm Springs vs bad part of Desert Hot Springs). No comparison. It is generally pretty easy to find friends there...from the people living or staying in the condos to the hotel. You also have naked water volleyball pretty well every saturday and sunday, 3 large pools 2 jacuzzis tennis court, and immaculate property. You can always get a day pass to sea mountain if that's what you want to do, and can pretty well stay as late as you want, as I remember depending on the type of day pass you buy. Only downside to Desert Sun they usually don't have dj's but a few times a month. Although we have been when they had beer related team games, tequila tasting events and other stuff.
