Swinging and the Mormon Church - - We know and have known many active Mormon swingers over the years and I think they pretty much have a personal "don't ask don't tell" policy. Another perplexing experience - - In reply to wetfem there is nothing wrong with you as a cpl. We have had simular situations everything from "oh no your a yankee" to "your too old" of course they never said this to our face we just could tell from the way those nights went the bottom line is ,you cannot possibly be compatible with everyone you meet and chatting, talking on phone, and e-mails/messages gives you just a slight insight into who you are planning on meeting thats why for us for the most part at least folks local to us we do not spend alot of time chatting etc... we setup a face to face meeting very quickly and see where it leads most 1st meetings are strictly social and then we tell whomever we are meeting with lets make it" more private "next time that normally will lead to a positive response or a polite "we don't feel we are compatible". Calling all losers! - LS and club scene - We used to go to coffee group that was comprised of people that were either swingers or poly or somewhere in between. It was fun! Lots of great conversations. We still know quite a few of the people that went. Yes people made sexual connections. We did! It worked because it was consistently held at the same time and same place every week. It was really invitation by word of mouth that got it started and kept in going for quite sometime. Friends inviting friends meeting new friends. Some weeks there were twenty people and some weeks there were four. Most weeks there were about ten. People move away and or their schedules change and eventually the group just sort of ended. We know it went on for about six months after our schedules caused us to rarely be able to go.
